Rainy Season is GREAT!
I LOVE this hotel, even in the off-season when it's raining- or maybe because its the off season and its raining... do you want to feel like a rockstar? You want to walk into a restaurant and have 7 people greet you warmly at the door? You want to have the entire spa all to yourself? Do you want someone to run in the rain to hand you an umbrella? Do you want to feel like this hotel is setup just for you? This is when you want to go! The hotel's acreage is small, compared to other full service resorts. I have arthritis and I appreciate ramps instead of stairs. The outside is paved with coral stones so theres no slipping anywhere. Even with the rain, I felt like I had good footing everywhere I walked. You can get to everything you want to do there within a 3 minute walk (at a slow, arthritic pace). This is the second time I've been here, and they have built a spa building (Ikal spa) on the property (opened 4 years ago). The plunge pools are lovely and the ambiance is very nice. Not gonna lie- it's spendy (not billionaire spendy, but it is a 5 star resort) But I like it here- the staff is friendly and warm, and they let me practice my spanish on them so it's all good, and having the folks at Scuba Du made it very easy for hubby to get his dive on while I enjoy fresh conchas with my tea at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast- watch for the Hawk guy. He comes in with his hawk and gets the hawk to fly around the cafe. Entertains the kiddies and keeps the crows away! Brilliant!

Samantha at Ikal Spa was wonderful for facial and massage! The staff is warm and welcoming. The property is very secure and we had an easy time getting taxi service to go to shops.

Wonderful for families!
We love coming here! This has been our family spot for many years now. It’s perfect for the kids too! The staff is wonderful and breakfast at the Palapa is the best way to start the day. Shout out to Felipe for always giving us the best service at Breakfast.

The best Cozumel hotel!
We had another lovely week at this beautiful hotel. The service here is excellent in all regard. We especially would like to thank the Manager of Food Services, Yazmin for her care in seeing that my husband had gluten free food in all the hotel restaurants. The room we occupied was perfect for us and we had a lovely view of the beach and other areas of the hotel. Our room was always kept immaculate thanks to the housekeeping staff. We were very pleased at the new hotel policy to reduce the amount of plastic water bottles being used. There are water bottle filling stations in several locations and if you do not bring your own refillable bottle, there are very nice ones for sale at a reasonable price. The Spa here is wonderful. We enjoyed excellent messages and had use of all the spa had to offer. And, the snorkeling here is really good. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to vacation on Cozumel, then you have to check out the Presidente!

5 star resort with 5 star service.
We stayed here with another couple friend. We both had beach front walkouts. They were very private and our rooms were spacious, stunning and very well stocked. Hairdryers, combs, shave kit, shave kit, etc. the shampoo/conditioner and body wash smelled amazing. The lotion was amazing. My husband loves to scuba dive so we come to Cozumel every year. Typically we have the kids with us so we do an all inclusive. This was an adults only trip so we splurged and we were so happy that we did. We have vowed to return every year to this resort. Things you must do: - Rent a cabana on the ocean. Stunning. Maldives vibes. Seriously, you won’t regret it. -Get a massage. Holy moly y’all. I get a massage every time we go to a resort and this was in my top 3. So amazing. My husband didn’t get a massage but paid to use the spa facilities for the sauna and cold plunge. The gym is well equipped with equipment. 4 treadmills, 2 stair steppers and 2 ellipticals. Wish that there was another mirror but it was fine as is. They have bottles of water in the fridge as well as a water dispenser. Food on site was delicious. Still dreaming about the ceviche and steak pizza. We typically leave resorts and go eat in town but we were so happy with our choices here that we only left one night out of a 7 night stay. Staff was always AMAZING. Happy to help, cheerful and lovely. Coming back for this reason alone. Book this resort, you won’t regret it
