  Amazing stat for my 60 years birthday

  I had the pleasure of staying at the moment at JW CANCUN it’s a magnificent five-star hotel, and I must say that every moment exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality was truly remarkable. A special thank you to the Hotel operations manager Mr Guillermo Cantos whose leadership is clearly reflected in the impeccable standards and warm atmosphere throughout the property. His presence, kindness, and dedication to excellence made a real difference during my stay. In fact, I had already been in contact by email with Mr. Cantos, I booked this stay to celebrate my 60th birthday and I had a few special requests. He quickly arranged everything with his team, and I must say that upon my arrival, everything they had prepared for my birthday was beyond my expectations. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mrs Alejandra and Mrs Ambar , for taking part in the preparations beforehand to ensure that my stay will be comfortable as possible I must say that the surprise was wonderful — a magnificent cheese and charcuterie platter, a very good bottle of wine, and a delicious birthday cake were already waiting in the room, along with a beautiful decoration specially prepared for my birthday. The entire team deserves praise as well. Every staff member I encountered was attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in everything they do, and it made me feel truly valued. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Ariadna who was at the front desk when I checked in. She was extremely professional and welcomed us in a very warm and friendly manner And also to Christian, who was always smiling and efficient. A heartfelt thank you as well to the breakfast team, especially Lourdes , the hostess, who is always smiling and very kind. Many thanks to all the breakfast servers — they are truly professional and take excellent care of their guests. I highly recommend the American Buffet, which is delicious and offers a wide variety of choices for every taste. A big thank you to the restaurant manager, Mr. Omar, who is genuinely attentive to his guests. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the spa, where the team is truly dedicated to the well-being of the clients. If you have the chance to experience the sauna, steam room, and the two different jacuzzis, you will be escorted by an Spa assistant whose only focus is your comfort and relaxation. I would also like to thank the housekeeping team, who do an exceptional job — the rooms are truly spotless. This hotel is not only luxurious in its facilities, but also exceptional in the quality of service it provides. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable and refined experience. I highly recommend treating yourself by booking the Grand Suite ocean view It will give you an unforgettable experience The location of this hotel is ideal, right on the beach with a breathtaking view, and there are many pools available for you to enjoy.   JW. Just Wow !

  I’m fortunate to have stayed in a few different hotels over time, this one was the best experience in recent memory. This was an anniversary treat and boy did it exceed our expectations. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Pools were fine, the indoor pool was arguably best in kind. Surprisingly the restaurants steal the show here, a few on the premises but the Italian Gustinos is just awe inspiring, spotless open kitchen ran by head chef JP who made this trip exceptional by offering to create a tasting menu for our anniversary (We were lucky it was low season and was available to show off his skill) I won’t go into details as I don’t want to over sell it, but needless to say that photos we shared made everyone’s mouth water. Just an incredible space lit up with 100’s of REAL lit candles on a central table, catered by world class staff. A quick shout out to Ximena, at the hostess station that made us feel incredibly welcomed minute one! Although every part of service, from check-in to check-out was impeccable (big thanks to Marco) housekeeping was surprisingly impressive. Yancy surprised us with little attentions, but the surprise room tidy after a nap really was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Talking about surprises, while my better half was checking us in, I was chatting with the front desk manager about the stunning orchid display in the lobby, well low and behold after a quick look see at the pristine beach we were stunned to find a beautiful purple specimen in our room with a hand written note that set the stage for just an incredible stay! I can’t say enough good things, although we often choose Marriott, this was our first JW stay and does it ever live up to expectations…. And then some! Also they have a in-house Falconer to maintain the grounds, that is a first for me!

  This is a beautiful property with wonderful service. All staff went above and beyond to insure an incredible vacation. Club 91 was an added bonus. Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided with an open bar each evening. Would highly recommend to enhance your vacation. Don’t miss the spa and request Juan.

  Why We Keep Coming Back—It’s the People 💙

  Our stay at JW Marriott Cancun was, once again, absolutely wonderful. The property itself is stunning—just a quick 15-minute ride from the airport, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with serene white and blue tones that echo the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. The beach is pristine, the pool area is inviting, and there’s always plenty of seating whether you’re soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade. There is an excellent gym on the 4th floor. The gym has plenty of cardio and weight equipment, as well as a second room for stretching, yoga, and group exercise. The poolside wait staff are attentive and kind, especially Julio C. We make it a point to sit wherever he’s working at the pool—his friendliness and patience with me trying to speak Spanish always makes for a great day at the water. Club 91 is a true highlight. As soon as we arrived, we headed straight to Club 91 to hug Marco before even hitting the beach! Each meal at Club 91 feels like a celebration, thanks to the vibrant atmosphere and the fresh, varied meals crafted by Luis and his staff. Located on the top two floors, it offers delicious meals, excellent drinks, and fun classes that add a personal touch to your stay. My daughter and I took the Margarita Class with Edwardo—a true margarita expert. His warmth and expertise made the class engaging and informative—and I now feel confidently equipped to craft a great margarita at home. What keeps us coming back year after year is the people. I don’t know what inspires such loyalty and joy among the staff, but we deeply admire JW Marriott Cancun for retaining such incredible individuals—Edwardo, Ana, Franco, Francisco, Krystal, Marco, Luis, and Julio C. and so many more familiar faces we see each year when we return. We’re deeply grateful for the hospitality, the beauty, and most of all, the people who make JW Marriott Cancun my happy place. Nos vemos el próximo año!

  The best of the best!

  From the moment we arrived, the level of service was outstanding! This is a gorgeous property. Completely relaxing and serene. Our entire trip, I found myself asking, “who are these people?” The staff across the entire property, in every capacity, are the best of the best. Almost everyone we met during our week were repeat vacationers at this property. We will definitely be returning and I look forward to our next trip!
