Sep 13, 2025Amazing Hotel Conveniently Located
My family had the best experience at Kauai Shores Hotel! It is conveniently located and is right on the beach. The hotel also has complimentary valet so you don't have to think about parking. The Lava Lava Beach Club attached to the hotel is a great place to eat right on the beach with delicious food and drinks. You are also walking distance from a shopping plaza that includes JoJo's Shaved Ice and other popular food spots. Would definitely stay there again.

The beach was closed the restaurant was wonderful and the rooms are really fantastic
It was a wonderful experience I really enjoyed the hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and just a little strange the parking at first but I got used to it and the beach was very near the hotel also enjoyed the lava la va restaurant where the food was fantastic

Best stay on Kauai
We stayed seven nights in the kitchenette room. I really enjoyed my stay at Kauai Shores Hotel. The check in staff were so friendly and welcoming. They have the coolest wristband room keys, so ask for them if you don’t get one right off. The room is a normal hotel size room with an apartment size fridge, microwave, toaster and electric skillet. I would suggest packing a roll of paper towels and a stick of butter ( so you’re not buying a whole package). Beds were very comfortable. There was underbed storage for 2 regular size suitcases. (2 each double bed) and an open closet and safe. We rented the bikes for a ride up the coast which was fun. The front desk remembered us from earlier in the morning and were worried we wouldn’t get back before all the bikes were rented. There is a 4 hour limit to the rental, but it seems they turn over quicker than that. The Lava Lava beach club restaurant is on site and has local live music every night. We would walk out to the beach and sit on loungers and listen to the music- good variety of music, too. Coconut Marketplace is right next door for prime rib dinners, gelato, pizza, Jo Jo’s shave ice. And shopping. The parking at KSH is very tight, spaces are small. Ask for a compact rental car :). We were able to find parking every night, but there is valet if all the spaces are taken. I will definitely recommend Kauai Shores to my friends who are headed to Kauai due to its central and convenient location, friendly staff and comfortable room.

A Very Special Place!
We had a great time at Kauai Shores! Such a beautiful hotel with great proximity to everything, a wonderful restaurant and exceptional friendly staff!

Nothing beats a jet two holiday!
Kauai Shores is absolutely amazing! Perfect location, beautiful amenities, and thoughtful touches that make the stay extra special. I really appreciated the small details in the room, like the vanity mirror and the convenient toiletry necessities — such a pleasant surprise! A special shout-out to the valet team, Marissa & Wayne, who were incredibly welcoming and efficient. They truly made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place!
