    Great Location, some amazing staff, lot's of little things they need to work on that add up.

    Butler Adrien & Luis Altitude Club are the best. Adrien was our butler and he gives clients a 5 star experience. He sincerely cares about his clients and works hard to make the stay the best possible. He could easily work at a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton property. Pool activity staff Francisco & Sebastian won our daughter's hearts with energy, kindness, & fun filled days making our days better too. THE MUSIC AND MICROPHONE ARE TOO LOUD! Ismael and Alvaro pool waiters were also attentive and fast serving in a crowded and slippery dangerous family pool area. WHY CAN'T YOU FIX THE DRAIN SYSTEM? DANGEROUS AND SMELLS...AND YOU FORCE US TO SIGN LEGAL DOCUMENTS TO NOT BLAME THE HOTEL FOR INJURY. Sergio in the O buffet restaurant is the hardest working employee there. He should train his colleagues. Señor Raul at the RoofTop Bar...I regret not giving him more PROPINA/tip...he learned the way my wife and I like our drinks on night one and without missing a beat served us to perfection each evening we went for a romantic pre dinner cocktail without the kids. Pedro at the front desk another stand out. I suggest you don't let the time-share folks annoy guests so much. We are on vacation and frankly most folks who come make more money an hour than the discount value that is offered for a day stuck in meetings...we did not do it as we know the process, but the guy sought us out daily...come on man. At the Grill breakfast one female server was so great remembering what my kids liked each day..that said...an hour wait for an egg, toast and avocado that comes to the table cold...not servers fault, but come on man. And for us the food quality could be better. This biggest STRESS is your Poolside Chair system. You don't follow your own rules, don't empower your employees to enforce them, nor do you do anything to bring more chairs for the amount of guests you have. NO BEACH chairs/umbrellas for Families? Get rid of the picnic benches or put them on the UNUSED grass and add more chairs. Folks should not have to fight or wake at 5AM to get a pool spot.. absolutely awful. We upgraded to cabana for a few days to avoid the stress and disappointment of not having a place to sit. Lucky it was available. If you enforce the rules, clients learn on their first day to respect them and you will have less issues. Chairs remained empty all day everyday though folks 'claimed' them with towels and personal belongings...Come on man...you can do better as you have the space and it is crowded.

    Good, not great resort. The employees made it for us, all so very friendly & helpful!

    Huge shout out to the amazing Julian Mendez & Fernando both at the adult pool bar. Julian was super attentive, quick, extremely friendly; Fernando made the yummiest drinks! Juan at check-in on the Bel-Air side was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful at check-in & anytime we passed by with a question. A negative for the resort was lack of nightlife & shade around the adult only pool & beach areas. Overall food was good; the Mexican restaurant was NOT good; 8 of us in a group and all had same opinion. Buffet was always good & the ‘theme’ dinner buffet (Mexican fiesta) was fantastic with freshly made churros & many types of freshly bbq meats. A couple days in we found the ‘Take a Bite’ coffee bar, it was a great place for midnight snacks & coffees/teas of all types.

    Nice small resort that was great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views.

    Nice small resort that was great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. We loved how easy it was to walk back to our rooms from anywhere on the resort. Got to see a couple whales even though the season was ending. Enjoyed seeing lots of rats jumping out of the water every day too. Food was decent but the Risotto Italian restaurant was by far our favourite. Enjoyed the omelette station in the morning and outdoor themed buffet nights a couple times. Julian was our server at the adults pool and he was very quick and attentive. Fernando was an awesome bartender and Juan at the BelAir lobby was great too. We wish there was more of a night life and more shade on the adults side.

    Great get away!

    The staff were great and the rooms are clean. The view was absolutely amazing. There are things to do at the hotel but highly recommend doing some of the excursions that are offered. The restaurants are hit or miss - you can find decent things to eat but don’t expect gourmet.

    Julian is the man

    Outstanding Service from Julian – Pool Server Extraordinaire We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Julian at the pool during our stay at the Krystal Grand, and he was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely at home while always keeping the vacation vibes alive! Julian has a natural gift for hospitality—he gave us fantastic recommendations, remembered our routines, and had our drinks in hand before we even asked. His attention to detail was unmatched, and his genuine, wholesome nature made every day by the pool feel special. We actually missed him on his day off! We were so grateful for his kindness and service, we gave him maple syrup from Canada as a small token of appreciation. That’s how much we loved him. Rock on, Julian! You’re a true gem, and the Krystal Grand is lucky to have you.
