  Everything was great!!! Service was amazing and fast. The pool was very great as well. The shows at night were very fun too! The housekeeping made great decor!!

  The BEST Place on Earth

  I came here with my parents as a graduation gift, and let me just say they do everything they can to make you feel special (we decided not to spend the extra money on Prive and still had a spectacular time). Upon arriving, we were greeted with cold towels and fun drinks, and were given a tour around the amazing property on the golf cart. The staff are so helpful and friendly and truly do everything they can to make sure you have fun and are having a great time. My dad and I went on the Bike Tour our first morning, and it was AMAZING (shoutout to Daniel and Israel). I definitely recommend doing this as it isn't too much biking but gives you your bearings on the area and property. At the pool, Lucy was our server most days, and she always had a smile on her face and made us laugh. I do recommend getting to the pool around 7:00 a.m. if you want to get a certain chair or space for the day. My favorite drink to order from the pool bar was a Pain Killer (tastes like a Pina Colada but on the rocks and stronger), but the mini beer shots were my favorite shot (definitely try this!). I participated in many of the gym classes, including Pilates, TRX, Yoga, and the couples dance class, and the instructor Xaranja is incredible! She truly makes the experience one-of-a-kind and gets to know her class participants while making working out very fun. Each day, we participated in so many fun activities, including aqua fitness, pool biking, beach volleyball, digital bingo, a cooking class, and of course, the foam party (Sundays at 3, don't miss this so fun!). Make sure to get the app to know when to participate in all of these awesome activities. Every night, they have live music and different shows in Plaza Espana, allowing such a beautiful vibe to the evening time and entire resort. At Don Miguel, definitely order the CLASSIC chocolate martini. The other one looks a lot more fun as it has dry ice in it, but is SO STRONG! The classic one tastes more like spiked chocolate milk:) Also, make sure someone in your group orders a Fire Coffee. So satisfying to watch them make, and the workers put on a show every time when making it! It also tastes delicious!! Our favorite restaurant was Mar y Tierra, and we ordered the filet which was phenomenal. At L'Olivo (Italian), I ordered the Carpaccio di Manzo for an appetizer not knowing what it is, but it was SOOO GOOD! Definitely try this, it was delicious! I ordered the lasagna as my main, which was soo good (not really a traditional lasagna with red sauce, but had a lot more meat but was SO GOOD), and for dessert, they have the BEST tiramisu I have ever had. My other favorites were the Salmon and French onion soup from L'Alsace (French), the filet from L'Alsace, the fried rice, tempura squid, and spicy tuna roll from Ginger (sit at the sushi bar!), and the chicken satay appetizer and Pad Thai from Taman Sari. For lunches, I loved the chicken panini, fruit platter, and vegetable plate from the bar by the Golden Pool. The food trucks by the main pool were okay, but I only say that because I wish I would have went to Le Marche for lunch sooner. They have an INCREDIBLE buffet of cook-to-order foods, including pastas, fresh calamari, ahi tuna, salmon, chicken, beef, burgers, and then an entire whole serve-yourself section where you can grab food that is already made. And don't even get me started on the desserts (I am a chocolate lover and this place EXCEEDED my expectations, I got 3 different cakes one day because there is so much to try)! Le Marche also serves breakfasts daily, and their omelets and bacon are so good, but their lunch selection and flavors blew it out of the park! My dad and I decided to do an excursion one day, so we booked the Local Snorkel Tour with Eduardo with Barracuda by the pool. They were super helpful, and this was the best experience imagine (and they got incredible pictures of it, but go see my review on Barrakuda for more info on that)! The seaweed was pretty bad most days, but there were one or two days that they cleaned it really well, and I was comfortable swimming in the beautiful blue water with no problem if you don't mind stepping over some seaweed to get to the water. The beach even has bar service, where a server will walk around and bring you drinks. And don't forget to stop by the Sunrise bar to sit on the beach swings and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset. I see now why so many people have been to this resort more than once. You get a beautiful ambience of wildlife while also feeling safe. It was extremely hot this time of year, but I would absolutely come back this time of year as it was not very crowded being the off season. Overall, Valentin provides a spectacular experience for its guests, and I am excited to return soon!
