Definitely a place to stay
Absolutely wonderful place to stay at. The beach is sadly not truly swimmable, it has a real bad undertow. No beer in the room is the only complaint I had. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing, the amenities were great, and the room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Las Brisas Ixtapa – A Beautiful, Relaxing Escape with Exceptional Staff
I had a wonderful stay at Las Brisas Ixtapa, and the highlight was truly the people who work there. The concierge, Javier, was especially exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. His English is excellent, and he offered fantastic suggestions for a solo traveler wanting to explore the beaches and sights around Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. My housekeeper also deserves special mention. She cleaned my room with so much diligence and detail every day. A tip for future guests: leave a generous tip on day one and ask for extra water; the single liter provided in the room isn’t quite enough for the day. The rooms can’t be beat. Every single one has a private balcony overlooking the resort’s secluded cove—sunrises and sunsets are stunning from up there. The rooms are spacious, modern, well-kept, and the beds are very comfortable. One note: if you like to sleep with your balcony doors open to hear the ocean, just know the AC automatically shuts off (something I discovered after my first night). The resort’s design is incredible—built into the side of a cliff, so the walk to the beach and pools takes you along stone pathways winding through lush jungle. The scenery is truly special. The adults-only pool has sweeping ocean views and plenty of loungers and shade. The beach itself is beautiful and has lots of chairs, umbrellas, bathrooms, and showers. My only critique (nothing to do with the hotel) is that the ocean waves can be strong. It’s definitely swimmable but best for those comfortable going past the wave break. I used the gym daily. Everything works well and the machines are in great shape; just note that there are no free weights, so you might need to get creative with your routine. Evenings were lovely—quiet and relaxing with no forced entertainment, at least during the weekdays. Weekends do get busier as more guests arrive. I chose the breakfast-only package, which was perfect. The breakfast buffet is excellent with tons of variety, and it’s open from 6am to 12pm, so you can even pop in twice. There’s also coffee in the lobby and in the rooms. For dinners, I walked into Ixtapa every night. It’s about a 25-minute walk, very safe and well-lit, and the town has so many delicious Mexican seafood options for around 300 MXN. Transportation was easy—there’s a combi stop right at the bottom of the hill, and I used it to get to both Ixtapa Island and La Ropa Beach. As a solo traveler, I felt totally safe and found it super simple. No need for expensive tours! One of my favorite unexpected surprises: the hotel has two sea turtle hatcheries, and they release baby turtles every other day. Truly a highlight of the trip. Overall, I would absolutely return to Las Brisas Ixtapa and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty, tranquility, and hospitality of Ixtapa.

A fragrance destroys the small of nature
The hotel has always been very beautiful with private beach, great gardens, pool and a rich breakfast buffet etc. Unfortunately they are now using a fragrance for the lobby bar, it is simple unnecesary and it competes with the smell of nature. Big mistake !!!!
