Jan 05, 2026Live Aqua delivers luxury, comfort, and relaxation!
My husband and I were looking for an adults only all-inclusive resort for vacation when Live Aqua Punta Cana popped up in an email from Costco Travel. We had never been to the Dominican Republic before and the location is absolutely breathtaking. It was as perfect as it looked on the website. Well-appointed spacious rooms with a walk-in double waterfall shower and tons of closet space. Complimentary robes, slippers, flip flops and a beach tote were in our room when we arrived. The water theme was everywhere on the property, which was so clean and organized. Beautiful pools, excellent food in multiple different themed restaurants. We really enjoyed the cabana on the beach and the swim up bar in the main pool. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The nightly entertainment kept us out after dinner to enjoy the beautiful weather. We enjoyed a couple's massage and hydrotherapy in the spa as well. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing week. Special thanks to our wonderful bartender, Yuli Joel Delvis, for the week of amazing cocktails at the main pool, to our fun waiter, Dario, and special hosts, Jeffry and Bre. You made our week at Live Aqua so special! We will see you again soon!

News years getaway
Our second trip to Live Aqua in Punta Cana. We had a great and relaxing experience. Nikki was very helpful and helped elevate our experience. I would like to mention a few others. Pedro, our butler, was very attentive and constantly reached out for additional needs. Ivelisse was very sweet and did an amazing job cleaning our room. One day we were having issues getting into our room and she saw us from way down the hall and came to assist. She called maintenance and had the lock battery replaced as we went to get coffee. It was fixed before we came back. Johangel in food services was so funny and welcoming. He made our meals fun and we remembered him from our last visit. Anthony was very kind and always super helpful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants was great and everyone was super helpful with my dietary needs with celiacs disease. The beach was beautiful as well. The spa was so relaxing and not to miss. Very much recommend this resort.

Jan 03, 2026DO NOT BOOK CLUB, it's a useless upgrade.
Let me start by saying that the property in general aesthetically looks fine. Please think twice about upgrading to Club. It is not worth it. Our "butler" Ayrani was useless. We speak fluent Spanish so there was no issue with understanding our requests. Our first day, we asked about booking a restaurant for NYE, and that would be taken care of. The next day we saw her clearly she forgot to make the booking and said she would book us into the French Restaurant as our original l request could not be filled. With her assurance it was taken care of, on NYE we went to the restaurant only to find out she never made the booking. A day later i found her in the Club Lounge and confronted her about that only to be told that the restaurant for NYE was fully booked. I had asked her why she didn't reach out to us, lets just say you could hear a pin drop. We also had booked the suite with a swim up pool. We could not use it! main issue was every time we went outside flies ate you alive. We could not have breakfast, enjoy the swim up pool, or even sit out in the evening to have a drink. We told her 4 times about the issue and was told the room would be fumigated. IT NEVER WAS. Imagine we had to sleep wrapped up like a "mummy" to avoid getting bitten through the night only to wake up with bites all over us. I had bumped into her in the hall way one evening and it was quiet funny seeing her fighting off the flies herself. Of course I told her "this is what we deal with in the room". Her solution arrived an hour later, a can of mosquito repellant which was pretty much empty. One very interesting situation which we made sure was not to be taken lightly, we brought 2 handmade unique Champagne flutes from our home to celebrate our engagement. On our last night we were going to enjoy our last bottle of bubbles only to notice our glasses were taken from our room. We reached out to Yrani sent her a picture only to receive a picture back of something nowhere near what we sent her. She told us "room service took them" we told her that why would they be in our room if we never ordered room service? Anyway, a few hours later they were located. This was probably the main reason for me do this review as a stern warning, DO NOT BOOK CLUB! its an upsell with no real benefits! We found a pool server, Confessor who was so attentive to us and made our stay which was mainly just to get some sun a little less disappointing.

A Truly Exceptional Stay
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana, which I chose to experience on my own, and I can say without hesitation that I will definitely return. The atmosphere, the tranquility, and the quality of the service make this hotel truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and surrounded by thoughtful attention. A very special thank you to Daniel, an exceptional butler, who truly made my stay unforgettable. Always available, smiling, and highly professional, he took great care of everything. Every morning, he checked in to see how I was doing and sent the daily schedule of activities and restaurants, which I found extremely convenient and reassuring. His attention to detail, kindness, and dedication make all the difference. When I return, I will definitely ask for Daniel again. I would also like to especially highlight Benjamin, an outstanding server with a rare level of professionalism. Always attentive, respectful, efficient, and warm, he anticipates guests’ needs effortlessly and makes every moment perfect. His service is flawless and contributes greatly to the overall experience. Finally, a kind word for Raysa, who brightens each day with her constant smile and genuine kindness. People like them truly make all the difference and are the reason guests want to come back. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable stay
