Amazing Experience!
First time visiting Live Aqua and I am mesmerized and completely in awe by the service. The attention the staff gives is absolutely phenomenal. Starting from GG Alfredo Santamaria with his attentive detail to the many complementary gifts for my girlfriend and myself. I am extremely grateful with the service Mr. Santamaria has instilled on this establishment and his staff, the work ethic goes beyond notice and is something to admire. The Mayordomo service is spectacular with Viri and Isaias making sure we did not have to worry about anything for scheduling restaurants and daily activities. At the pool area Marco pool waiter was stupendous and extremely aware of any of our needs whether it be food or drink. I don’t think I have ever had one of our waiters check in on us every 10 min in any hotel I have ever stayed at and this was amazing! Marco was extremely fast in getting our drinks and at times I didn’t even have to ask him he would just come with the drink ready in hand. As for smoking I had no issue as I am an avid cigar enthusiast and enjoy my cigars with a fine coffee or drink. There are sections all throughout the hotel where you can enjoy your cigar without any issues and a great view! Overall I give the is a 5/5 and will be coming back in the near future.

Exceptional Service, Amazing Staff, and a Dream-Like Stay! (TLDR at the bottom)
From the moment I arrived at this all-inclusive resort in Cancun, I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail. The hospitality here is truly unmatched. A special thank you to Cesar and Ernesto, the executive chefs, who went above and beyond to ensure my meals were perfect every single time. They personally checked in throughout my stay, making sure I was completely satisfied with my dining experiences. The servers were just as outstanding—always attentive, friendly, and quick to make sure my drinks were topped up and my meals left me completely satisfied. The restaurants were phenomenal. Each one offered a unique atmosphere and menu, with so much variety that I never grew tired of the options. I enjoyed every single meal I had, and the layout of each restaurant almost made me feel like I had stepped outside of the resort for a different dining experience altogether. Service was consistently exceptional, and honestly—I couldn’t even choose a favorite restaurant because they were all that good. The daytime activities were just as impressive, offering the perfect mix of fun, energetic, and relaxing options. From bracelet making, water aerobics (my personal favorite), and bingo (a close second) to cooking and drink-making classes, there was truly something for everyone. I loved that there was a blend of upbeat activities and more low-key ones, and what made them all special was the staff running them. They always made conversation, connected with guests, and turned each activity into a memorable experience. Ludin, Alex, and Taylor bought great energy to every event. Ricky, in particular, brought amazing energy that made the activities even more enjoyable. At night, the entertainment kept the resort just as lively. Whether it was games, live performances, karaoke, or themed events, there was always something entertaining to do. I never once felt bored, day or night. I stayed for ten nights, and it was the perfect amount of time—it never felt too long or too short. Room service always left my space immaculate and stocked, often with little treats (pastries, slippers, room mist) to come back to. Courtesy room checks ensured everything was in order, and many evenings I returned to find a tranquil zen garden setup—a thoughtful and relaxing touch that made me feel truly cared for. When it was time to leave, I felt like I was waking from a dream-like state—refreshed, calm, yet energized and enormously happy. I left utterly content, carrying beautiful memories that will stay with me for a long time. If you want exceptional service, delicious food, and an atmosphere that leaves you blissfully recharged, this resort is the place to be. TLDR : A Dream-Like Stay in Cancun I spent 10 nights at this resort and left feeling refreshed, calm, energized, and enormously happy—it truly felt like a dream. The staff made the experience unforgettable. Executive chefs Cesar and Enrique personally checked in to ensure every meal was perfect, and the servers/waiters were always attentive and friendly. The variety of restaurants was incredible, each with its own unique atmosphere and consistently excellent food—I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. The activities kept every day exciting, from water aerobics and bingo to bracelet making, cooking classes, and more. The team brought such great energy, Ricky, Ludin, Alex, and Taylor made every moment fun. Nightlife was just as entertaining with live shows, karaoke, and games, so there was never a dull moment. My room was always spotless, stocked with treats, and even included thoughtful touches. This resort exceeded every expectation—I left utterly content and can’t recommend it enough!

TD/KD KY July 2025 review!
We stayed in early July for our wedding anniversary. We are returning guests. It has been a while since we came and it’s definitely changed. We also had a terrible situation happen before we arrived with losing our beloved dog the day before our arrival. Let’s go over in detail our experience this time. Check in - About five couples ahead of us. We were asked our names and given a wet scented cloth. Nice touch but no welcome drink. The lobby and the entire hotel have a spearmint type smell which we enjoy but can be bothersome for some. It does taking to get used to. The line really didn’t go fast and other workers just stood around and didn’t say anything. We finally get checked in, I ask about an upgrade but for an oceanfront room they wanted an extra $160USD a night. I passed. We got given our map and were handed off to a lady in a black shirt. I knew what this was. This was the let’s remind you where everything is and try and set up the “breakfast meeting.” AKA Timeshare meeting. We listed and finally just said okay we’ll meet you at 10 tomorrow. We’ll come back to this. Be aware of this and be aware a lot of things are upsells here. You also can leave your credit card on file to buy items but we decided against it and only paid the mandatory taxes. It’s around $30US for six nights. However except for one bottle of champagne, no mention of our anniversary which was a bit disappointing. Room - Ocean View King on the M level. It was clean and efficient. They brought us our bags and asked if we needed anything else. We asked for 8 more bottles of water, hangers, and some extra towels. No issues there. I wish the rook could see the ocean more but did what we needed. My only complaint is give extra toilet paper and our left sink bowl always got stuck to where it wouldn’t drain. I mentioned this to be fixed five times and the only solution was to move rooms. By this point we are unpacked and it’s a nuisance to just change rooms over one sink. However maintenance needs to really fix this issue, not bandaid it. Pools - You could find us at the Infinity pool most days. Relaxing as always. You do get pool side service and not a swim up bar at that one. We don’t mind that. Drinks were easy to get and decent. By the afternoon they get water downed. I drank beer mostly. You only can get Dos Equis, Tacate, or Coors light. I wish they’d get Corona. Definitely a great view. Same pool activities daily with fitness, and bingo. Maybe some new games because by day three you know the routine. Employees - The true stars. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My only exception is this. One day two we honestly forgot our “breakfast meeting.” We were confronted by someone else in a black shirt asking us why we missed it. They tried making us feel bad and guilty. My wife kept saying we just are not interested. We are here to relax. Finally my wife broke down in tears mentioning how we lost our dog two days ago and you keep hounding us. To back off. Finally the lady got it and gave my wife a hug. Note I understand you have a job to do but when someone tells you no. After three times you’re going to upset a guest. Rant over on that but want you all to be aware of this. Every other employee was great. We made friends with the restaurant and pool servers all week. Side note. Tip them. Please do. We would average tipping $40-$50US a day and you can tell it’s appreciated. Food - Hit and miss. Buffet is same thing east day. MB steals the show with the habanero soup and filet. The Italian is ok but be aware at dinner you sit outside and by the pergola it drips water. Overall we never had a terrible meal and always arrived at 6 with minimal waiting times. Also at MB men have to wear pants and closed toe shoes. Caribbean - Pretty as always. Very rough and could never swim. Yes the seaweed is bad in July and yes they do all they can to clean it. You need to go to the southern parts to get the crystal blue water. However most like me just put their feet in and look out to listen to the waves. Souvenir shop - Rip off. I only got a coffee thrums, and some of those scents to take home. That was over $100US. Go across the street to La Isla mall. Totally safe just be careful crossing the street. Ask the US conversion price. Get your souvenirs there. The best shop is in the back by senior frogs. Overall experience - 7-10. If you’re looking for a relaxing experience this is your place. It’s not a party hotel. Would we return? Maybe if the price was right and we wanted to get away. Side notes - VISITAX is a scam but if you want to be safe and not hassled leaving pay the $30US for two before hand. Transportation is easy. Just remember exit the terminal building and don’t talk to anyone inside unless it’s security randomly selecting you for extra security. Just don’t give eye contact and keep walking. Gracias for reading amigos!

Amazing!
By far the most excellent meal I’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort. We ordered the watermelon appetizer, the shrimp and the habanero soup, and they all were incredible. We also had the mahi mahi and the steak which were both cooked to perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bravo! Rohibi and William were amazing, and Freida was the sweetest. We can’t wait to return

Awesome resort!
We had a great time at Live Aqua. We traveled in June 17-22, 2025. It is definitely worth upgrading to the Club Level where you have several perks like butlers, access to the club lounge which has premium alcohol, sometimes entertainment and small bites every night and a reserved cabana. The food is good at all the places but superb at MB, the habanero soup is so delicious and not too spicy at all. Our waiters at MB, Sal and Julio were excellent. Our butlers Eladio and Viridiana were awesome! They met every request even tracking down a lost and found item for us. They made reservations at the restaurants so we never had to wait for a table. Maria at the pool was our waitress for food and beverages and she was EXCELLENT. I would definitely go back at club level.
