  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend Live Aqua Punta Cana! We just returned from an unforgettable 7-night, 8-day stay at Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana, an adults-only, all-inclusive paradise — and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. We booked through Costco Travel and stayed in the Tierra Suite, which I highly recommend. This room category comes with an impressive list of VIP perks — many of which even the resort staff were surprised by! Ours included a private pool, loungers, outdoor bed, daily spa access, a private beach cabana, strawberries and champagne on arrival, private Beach Club access, upgraded minibar, and a special VIP breakfast each day. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. Check-in was smooth and effortless. Because of our room status, we had access to the Aqua Club VIP lounge, where we were greeted with drinks, snacks, and even a complimentary hand massage from the spa while we waited. We were then escorted to our suite by golf cart, luggage in tow, and given a full tour of the amenities. That’s where we met Yrani, our personal butler for the week — and she was outstanding. Yrani was attentive, kind, and proactive, handling every request with genuine care. It’s clear she truly loves what she does, and she played a big part in making our stay so memorable. On day three, we noticed that our shower was leaking through the tile and glass, and water was pooling behind the bed. The staff responded immediately to assess the situation. When I mentioned I was concerned about possible mold behind the bed, our concierge didn’t hesitate — she immediately offered to move us to another suite. Within minutes, a golf cart arrived to help with our bags, and we were relocated to a beautiful new room in another building. We were even able to keep Yrani as our concierge, even though she wasn’t assigned to that area. I actually preferred the new location — it was directly in front of the VIP beach access, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. We intentionally chose to stay on property the entire time to relax and unwind — and we’re so glad we did. We quickly became familiar with the resort staff, many of whom went above and beyond to make our stay special. Angelo, our beach server, was phenomenal. He kept our drinks coming all day and even made creative non-alcoholic suggestions for us. Yohangel, our breakfast and lunch waiter, was a burst of energy every day. He remembered our preferences, greeted us enthusiastically, and always ensured we were seated in his section. Doniz at Chez Rose, the French restaurant, provided impeccable service and perfectly prepared meals — the steak was so good we dined there three nights in a row. Francisco at Sospiro was another standout. He was attentive and thoughtful, even sending us off with extra panna cotta — our favorite dessert — to enjoy later. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, peaceful, and designed for total relaxation. Whether you want quiet time by the pool or to mingle and enjoy lively evening entertainment, you can find both here. The beach is cleaned daily, and there are plenty of towels, loungers, and attentive staff to make your days by the water stress-free. The local beach vendors are friendly and not pushy, and we never once felt unsafe. (That said, I’d still recommend not leaving valuables unattended — just good travel practice anywhere.) One thing that really stood out to us was the dedication of the staff. Many of these incredible people travel hours each day to get to work and some work 20+ days in a row before seeing their families again. They do this with smiles on their faces and a genuine desire to serve. It’s humbling to know that most earn only about $300 USD per month, even though reservations state that gratuities are “included.” The resort (like many in the area) does not distribute those included tips to employees — so please, if you visit, bring cash and tip generously. These men and women work incredibly hard and absolutely deserve it. We did have one experience worth noting for future travelers. We asked our concierge if there was a nearby place to buy a Bluetooth speaker, and she kindly arranged free transportation to a local gift shop. Unfortunately, that visit turned into a bit of a high-pressure shopping situation. The shop employees refused to give us prices until we’d gathered everything we wanted, and then quoted us $460 USD for a handful of souvenirs! When I declined, they insisted I name a price, repeatedly pushing a calculator toward me. I finally settled on $140 USD, but later realized after visiting the resort’s own gift shop that we probably overpaid by about $40. It would’ve been helpful if the concierge had mentioned the aggressive sales tactics common in some tourist shops. I can’t say for sure, but it did seem like the driver might have a relationship with the store, as he encouraged us to buy and called it a “good deal.” On the way back, he stopped at another shop and purchased a Bluetooth speaker for us for $30 — and then laughed, saying the store gave him that price because they thought he was buying it for himself, not tourists. Later, I found it much easier to negotiate fairly with the beach vendors since I had a better sense of pricing from the hotel shop. They were friendly, easy to talk to, and the experience felt much more relaxed and honest. Overall, Live Aqua Punta Cana is the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and warm Dominican hospitality. The service is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pure paradise. If you’re looking for an adults-only escape where you can truly unwind and be pampered — while also showing appreciation for the incredible people who make it all possible — this is the place. We’re already talking about when we’ll be back. 🌴 p.s. Don't forget your speaker!

  Great 60th birthday with family and friends!!!

  We just returned from a week at this resort. We had a great time, the staff was very friendly and the restaurants were great. We were in a swim up pool view which was very nice. There were some mosquitos so if they like you as they do me, bring some repellant. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian, it was excellent. The Aqua Club was a nice touch and we always went there for a drink before dinner. The shows were really good as well. We had two people we need to recognize for there outstanding service, Red with the entertainment team and Joel, a server by the swim up bar. Red went out of her way to assist us when we had a few issues and Joel was johnny on the spot taking care of us by the pool. They both did an excellent job of making my 60th birthday quite memorable.   The most incredible trip… again

  This was our third visit to Live Aqua, and as usual we had the most amazing relaxing trip. The staff always go above and beyond for us, epically Jonny, Joel and Josua at the pool and beach with their special cocktails. The whole resort is stunning and the food is incredible. Massive shout out to: David Rosa Salvador Daniela Jandy - French Diana Rosmary Red Pedro Hannel Yohangel Angel Dario Who made our trip so special. We can’t wait to return next year for our wedding! 🤍🤩

  Delicious drinks!

  Ezequiel made a phenomenal drink at SheiShin prior to our dinner. Passionflower cinnamon deliciousness! The resort overall is extremely clean and great for a relaxing, couples retreat.
