The staff is always very friendly Josue y Maria were very helpful with dreamcatcher activity. The beach and jungle concepts are very appealing and the food is amazing ing. Very relaxing ambiance.

Family trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The staff were exceptional. Everyone we engaged with were friendly, professional and helpful. The grounds were well maintained and very clean. Our room was perfect, everything worked as expected, no complaints. The resort meals and snacks were well prepared, and we enjoyed the area outside the resort for bite to eat as well. We felt safe and well taken care of at all times at Mehekal Beach Resort.

Mexican gem
Where to begin! This place lives up to its name. It’s magical!! The atmosphere, the food, the people. Loved having our personal concierge on WhatsApp. So helpful in finding local inside info. The rooms are bright and the beds comfy. The air conditioning is perfect. Walk around the beautifully maintained grounds, jump in a pool or swim in the ocean. Stop by the spa and listen to the sound bath. Or better yet sign up for one. Amazing! This place is a gem.

Worth it
Beautiful resort if you're looking for boutique, nature, great food, and uniqueness. Bring good mosquito spray for the evenings - as expected with all the surrounding nature. Sophia Marie was a very attentive server. The melted cheese and the corn cake at Fuego restaurant are to die for. Also, must try Farmers Sandwich on lunch menu and the vegetarian pasta on the dinner menu. Venture and explore the whole resort. Starbucks on premises, awesome spot to cool down on extremely hot days, especially for those with kids (change of scenery from your room). The pool next to Fuego restaurant gets the most shade. Went with 6-month-old - she loved the pool, the strolls, and all the attention from all the staff on the premises. One thing the hotel could do better is on the coffee pod refills in the room.

The resort is gorgeous. There are a few things though that could be improved, like some maintenance, sharpe tiles in the pool, the palapa roofs that make your bed really messy, one of the restaurants being closed, jet streams in the pool that are turned off. That being said. It’s the staff that made our stay truly amazing! Daniel who was always there to help. Sofia who has made every breakfast amazing and was so sweet and kind to us. Josue and Maria who were so fun as animation team. Braian who is the best waiter and who was there to help us almost every diner. Also a big thank you to Ana, Virgilio en to Manuel for everything! Without exceptions, the staff is amazing.
