    Riviera Maya Vacations

    The facilities are good. I really enjoyed the beach and the different activities every day. The nightly shows are great, especially the Mayan show. The best part was Children's Day, celebrating with the family and enjoying the activities for the little ones. I'd like to mention that all the activities were fun, especially the balloon fight—definitely something I'll always remember. Valeria and Josue, the Kids Fun staff, made sure my nieces had a wonderful time.

    Great location and good food! We had a beach front room with plunge pool and it was awesome! My only real complaint is that the food would get pretty old if you stayed more than 5 days or so (menus never changed). Overall, we had a great stay and almost didn’t want to leave our patio because it was only a few steps from the water. We could hear the waves crashing every night. Definitely Recommend!

    Best place to stay in Playa Del Carmen

    This place is better than the pictures!! Hands down this is absolute best place you can stay in Playa Del Carmen, and I’ve visited PDC three times and this is paradise! The hotel is right on the beach with amazing views, beautiful accommodations, delicious food, gorgeous pools, the best location (right in town) and the nicest staff that you can imagine. You 100000% should stay here if you are debating where to stay! My mom and I did a mother daughter trip and it couldn’t have been more perfect, she enjoyed water arobics and yoga during the day while I worked (amazing WiFi if needed) and then we both explored as PDC is just outside your door. In my opinion this part of PDC is much more enjoyable than when you stay further south (near the ferry but is still walkable if you want to check out Cozumel). Can’t wait to come back! And an extra shout to the amazing hostess Yexaini who was beyond kind and the recreation manager Josue. Thank you to everyone at Mahekal, we can’t wait to return!

    A wonderful holiday!

    The holiday was wonderful! Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating and you felt very safe by the security guarding the entrances. Also the activities offered (especially for children) by Josué and Valeria are super diverse and creative! I can really recommend a holiday at Mahekal!

    Beautiful place with beautiful scenery

    Amazing place to spend a quiet holiday, super recommended!! The rooms are cozy, the staff is very friendly and attentive, the food super rich, we ordered a pizza my partner and I and it was delicious , play pool quietly and we ate some rich ice cream from the cafeteria!!!
