    February Trip to the Majestic Elegance

    Excellent stay at the Majestic Elegance. Great food and atmosphere. Osvaldo and Mana really made the pool side experience worth the trip. Great service from Marcos May at the Japanese restaurant. Solid location with a nice beach. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped for the stay. Resort was very clean, and the ambient noise was minimal as we stayed in a Garden Suite. Overall the trip was great value and I would visit again. Adults only section well worth the extra for those without children.

    A relaxing stay with a beautiful beach

    We just returned home from 6 days at this resort. The beach here is beautiful with plenty of chairs. The food was good with our favorite waiter being Santiago at the Steakhouse. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson show and Mexican Wrestling night. Ricardo does a great job letting you know about these events and was so fun to see around the resort. Our favorite was the piano bar with Eric. He was definitely our favorite bartender and had so much fun with him. We also enjoyed Marisol at the piano bar and Mexican restaurant. These people make this resort fun and your stay enjoyable. We had a jacuzzi suite room and it was clean and liked we had a partial ocean view.

    Beautiful resort with so many good things.... but NO POOL HEAT!

    A beautiful resort, on a beautiful beach. We stayed on the family side in a One Bedroom Suite. Our room was excellent - a great deal of space for us. We were in building 5, overlooking the pool and with a partial ocean view. Couldn't be happier with our room. The food is excellent. The service is very good. The beach is wonderful. About 45 minute drive from the airport. I feel that this resort greatly prioritizes The Club / Adults only side over the family side. We have just returned from an unseasonably cold week in Mexico where NONE of the family side pools were heated. ALL the Club pools were heated. There were a great number of families with small children staying at the same time as us and everyone I spoke to was dismayed with this. (Before we travelled, I actually looked into this because last year the resort we stayed at had heated pools in the winter months and that allowed us to enjoy our stay with comfort.) NOWHERE in any review or promotional literature did it say that the resort ONLY heats pools on The Club side. I travel with an adult child with sensory issues who loves being in the water. Having to tell her that it was too cold to swim - when we came from so far away to swim every day of our holiday - was very challenging. And why? If this resort can heat The Club pools, it can surely heat the Family pools. This resort is not a cheap getaway. We chose to go to this beautiful place. We chose to spend our money here. Of course the weather is beyond anyone's control, but if this company cares enough about its Club guests to heat their pools, I feel it's disgraceful that they don't care enough about their Family guests to do the same. If you don't want to take care of the families, then just become an adults-only resort. There is so much good happening at Majestic Elegance. It really is stunning, with exceptional food and service. One simple thing could make this resort a repeat destination for our family. Sadly, we won't be back.

    Fantastic Family Vacation

    Great time! This is our second year coming and we will continue to come back. The food and atmosphere are wonderful and the staff are fantastic. Mana had an intense ping ping game with my husband and was wonderful entertainment keeping our family engaged with activities including guacamole making class. The beach is great for shell collecting, sandcastle building and walking. We love coming here!
