  Amazing place

  Jesus did an amazing job on all the shows and the games. We did not stay till Saturday for the phone party, but we really missed out because I know it would’ve been amazing. We tried to extend another night, but it did not work and Jesus was part of the reason we wanted to extend longer !!!!

  FABULOUS time at Majestic Elegance

  We had a great time at Majestic Elegance. Just a couple of things that keep it from being five star, and this may not matter to all. I'll start with the positive: 1. Design is gorgeous, lobby, rooms, restaurants, it's all so very beautiful. I've seen few resorts this lovely. 2. Variety of entertainment is incredible! So many shows that went beyond the usual resort style. A fire show that was so impressive. A Mexican cultural night that included an amazing buffet of all local cuisines from different parts of the country. Incredible! 3. Fabulous gym. Alexandra who runs it gave great classes too. No joke, they were a great workout! Loads of machines and free weights too. 4. Beach is UNREAL. Beautiful sand, lots of space, beach bar open until 6pm. 5. So many restaurants and no reservations except at Teppenyaki and French, and both were easy to get. The APP makes it simple and only one place is closed each night so plenty to choose from. 6. Good variety of drinks and bars, you can't run out of places to go hang out. 7. Gorgeous hydrotherapy spa. LOVED our time there. 8. No upsells and no gimmicks trying to sell you timeshare. This alone is worth ALOT! The few negatives: 1. Not really worth upgrading to the "club" - we still had to chair hunt at the pool and the beach most days. We often ended up at the "non club" pool and beach as they had more seats often! So not sure I would pay more. The butler thing is nice I suppose but we didn't use them much and they didn't do anything really "extra" in our room. 2. The service is hit and miss. If you sit at a bar, no problem. If you sit at a restaurant or buffet, you often wait a long time for drinks/service. That said, they are all very kind and polite and this is a minor complaint. 3. The POOLs. Sadly, the weirdest setup I've ever seen. The pool faces a wall and the infinity pool looks back at the resort instead of the beach. We are more beach people to be sure, but I have zero idea what they were going for with this choice. That said, for those who like pool time, plenty of bars at each and lots of fun activities. Shoutouts: Joy for the allergy walk through and her partner (I'm so sorry, I forgot his name but he was also awesome!). I am celiac and I had plenty to eat. Miguel and Alfredo at the Mexican night and the Mexican resto. Love them. Super fun! Alexandra at the gym. She works very hard and her classes are awesome. Henry and Michelle for helping us out - they were our assigned butlers. All the staff at the spa. So relaxing and well worth the visit.

  Never coming back!!!!

  Our ButlerEnrique was the only thing I would give a 5 star! The food was bad and sometimes inedible. Even the Mexican restaurant was disgusting!!!! Every drink was made a different way and for two days we couldn’t find a good drink! While we tried to enjoy our beautiful beach view and plunge pool we had the sound of construction vehicles from the other resort passing us from 8 am to 7 pm daily. Resorts next to us cleaned the beach daily and hike we swam with seaweed and fell in tire tracks to get in the ocean.
