  A GOOD first time resort choice

  Our first time at a resort in Mexico (10 days), we usually travel using AirBnBs, hotels or cruise. I would give the Majestic Elegance a solid 4. The resort is well maintained but starting to show wear and tear in the rooms, furniture replacement is needed. We stayed in the ADULT Club section in a Gardenview junior suite. The CLUB section comes with a BUTLER... we are low maintance so we only ever saw him on arrival ! I think this amenity should be optional. There are 4 adult only buildings and 2 family buildings on site. The layout of the resort makes for some very loud evenings as approximately 1/2 of the rooms are effected by the theatre noise, something to consider before booking. The entertainment was hit and miss, with really only one venue. The main lobby piano bar is hghly under used with a local pianist playing only in the late afternoon. We really enjoyed the location of the resort and the walkabilty of the beach with no local venders. We found the pools and lounge area along the base of the complexes to be a great alternative on windy cooler days. The food was good but nothing exceptional. The buffets had a good variety but hot items were barely lukewrm. Our favourite restaurants were the steakhouse and Mexican. Staff was abondant and always pleasant.

  Amazing experience

  This is a beautiful resort! We enjoyed everything from the suite that we stayed in to every restaurant and bar that we ate and drank at. The beach is spectacular, the pools and grounds are lovely and well maintained but the best part were the people. Katia, Kevin on the beach, Victor at the swim up bar and Erik at the buffet were some of the people who made our stay so special! Highly recommend!

  Excellent resort, something for everyone

  It was an amazing experience, from the view, to the food, to the activities. There was always fun activities and parties to join or the peaceful quiet of the beach and pools. The staff make you feel welcome and they join in on the fun, while still being professional. I have dietary restrictions/allergies and everyone was very accommodating. They would personally walk me through all options that were safe or they would remake food to be safe for me to eat. Whether we ate at the buffet or restaurants, the first question was about allergies. I felt safe and was able to relax without worrying about cross contamination. Over all, I would say this was a lovely experience and I would recommend this resort to anyone, even those with kids (there is a kids side and adult side). I hope to visit again soon .

  Unique stay, not your average All-Inclusive experience.

  Visited for a wedding, and traveled from CT, USA. This resort is a bit further from traditional Cancun, and not for any bad reasons. Its not the usual all-inclusive environment that Im used to in Cancun. Nestled between an inlet (I think) and the ocean, this resort is private, and intimate. compared to the other resorts Ive stayed at, this is perfectly sized. There is no wait for restaurants, bars, or even service. It feels like it is really catered to the individual experience. Few things that made this unique: 1.) The resturants do not require a reservation. And they are not packed to capacity. This takes pressure off of plans, and lets you go with the flow. 2.) The buffet is impeccably clean and fresh. (Not something Im used to at a resort) 3.) Room service takes 30 minutes, max, and the food is fresh to order (not pulled from the buffet) 4.) The staff is wonderful. We are in their country, so I dont expect them to speak my language, but they all did. They customized food and drink options and offered their own suggestions (I said I didnt know what I wanted at the bar, and the bar tender asked me what I enjoyed (flavor wise) and really took their time to serve me., 5.) At every resturant the wait staff says things like "This was meant for you" or "It is my pleasure to serve you" and I really felt that. 6.) Consistency. I mean everywhere- their training shows and was very impressive. 7.) The nightlife is unique and different all the time. Night one was a festive mexican night, and they set up the courtyard with dozens of tables from different areas of Mexican food, they had live music and it felt very authentic. Night two was superbowl, and I must say- they really did this up. From the decor to the dancers and the football players on stilts- this was an all out experince. The food, drinks and the Bad Bunny impersonator was excellent. I had more fun here than I would have in the US for superbowl. 8.) The staff, specifically Stephanie that hosts the back entrance of "The Reef" was one a kind. I own service based businesses back in the USA, and I would feel lucky to have her represent my business the way she did her role here. She was so friendly and toured my sister and I around the area while giving us information. It was like she was our friend. She even helped me film a tiktok video, which sounds silly, but is a real testament to her commitment to customer service.

  February Trip to the Majestic Elegance

  Excellent stay at the Majestic Elegance. Great food and atmosphere. Osvaldo and Mana really made the pool side experience worth the trip. Great service from Marcos May at the Japanese restaurant. Solid location with a nice beach. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped for the stay. Resort was very clean, and the ambient noise was minimal as we stayed in a Garden Suite. Overall the trip was great value and I would visit again. Adults only section well worth the extra for those without children.
