  Nice place but a few issues preventing this from being 4 star

  We stayed at the Majestic Elegance Club in Costa Mujeres from Jan 20 - Jan 25, 2026. Overall a good experience; I will highlight the pros/cons: Pros: - Friendly staff. No issues with service. If you treat people well they will do the same in return. We had a butler (Adamo) who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. Highly recommend this individual and how he takes care of his customers. Service: - Overall excellent on resort or at the beach. Pool areas: - plenty of bali beds and no issue sitting where you want. Grounds: - clean and well maintained Food: - French and Steak restaurants are excellent, the rest are average including Mexican food (surprisingly). Cons: Room: excellent amenities and comfort...however...the main issue in the 18+ section was noise. The entertainment echoes up between building 2 and 3 facing poolside. The adult side with the infinity pool was very loud; in general it is hard to get away from the noise in this block. I would recommend rooms in building #6 if you want quiet and to be away from the party. Beach: - if you're coming for the ocean and to lay out on the beach it's fine but the water is weedy. Not a huge problem it just is what it is. Sand beach is excellent however. - loungers on the beath are worn out and need new matrices. Bali beds are nice for club members. - the burger stand at the beach is a nice touch, and the burgers are good. Pools: - solar heated only so if it has been cold for several days, pools will be cold as well (which was our experience). Other restaurants: Mexican: average Evening buffets: average The Mar House: atrocious food and service. it took 2 hours for sub par food. AVOID Overall there are a few bright spots with restaurants but in general the food is not up to par for an elegant club resort. Also - note that if privacy is your thing this resort is open concept. There is not much separation from adult and family sections, an you can see across into other rooms, specifically in the adult section. The premium swim out rooms offer no privacy from regular pool goers and would not be worth the money in my opinion. Better to take a regular room. Transfer to and from the resort: The 1 hour trip is trough central Cancun and up the Cost Mujeres peninsula which is congested and run down. In contrast you can get to Akamal in the same time on a good highway that is not crowded. The sand is better in Cancun area, snorkeling and privacy better down south so it depends what you are after. Overall an ok resort with shortcomings in food and privacy. As an adults only I would recommend Secrets Akumal which is worth the additional cost. 3 stars

  Honeymoon trip!

  Micheal Jackson show was awesome, I loved it, the show make me scream a lot. The drinks are so great and the food so delicious, my favorite restaurant was the steak house, also Ricardo from the entertainment team was amazing he made us dance and fun!

  Fire show

  Ricardo + Mana are the best! ❤️ Food is amazing, service is GREAT. Aromatherapy is such a nice touch. Love the steakhouse, fire show was amazing - do not miss it

  Best Server at the Resort

  We stayed here last year and met Cauich who is a beach server. He treated us as his family and we quickly became friends . We came back again this year and immediately found him doing what he does best ! His warm smile and over the top customer service is a delight . He goes out of his way to take care of you and everyone around him . Majestic is lucky to have such a dedicated and caring employee . Looking forward to coming back year after year and see our dear friend Cauich
