  Majestic is just ok

  Hi everyone, The hotel is ok. Overall, it’s fine, but it’s the details that give you a true impression. For example, there’s a large pool in the center of the hotel, sharing space with the restaurant. It has a powerful exhaust on the roof. So be ready to listen to an awfully loud noise throughout the day. It’s like being at the factory. No matter where you are in the hotel. And we have a junior suite. I think it’s a basic one but with the view of the pool and the sea. (See pics) Nothing you can do about it. Imagine, you come out to your balcony in the morning and instead of hearing local birds, you hear loud mechanisms. Whomever’s idea was to place exhausts in the middle of the hotel deserves Darwin’s award - although true since I chose this hotel, I deserve this award too. I never complain, because life is life, but the noise sucks so much! Beach beds (with umbrellas) are packed close to each other, so again it creates a less relaxing experience where you’ll need to stay side by side with strangers. Food is good, the room is good, and the restaurants look nice. About the room. They don’t have queen beds. They use some sort of twin beds (see pics) So if you didn’t get a king bed room, be ready to have two small beds coupled together. This review comes from a person who’s been to Mexican resorts many times and it affects the impression. I can see a first timer who would love it here; but when your mind starts comparing, the inevitable is you’ll be disappointed. It’s not as good as the reviews describe it. Go to the Finest Playa Mujeres: our favorite one so far (although that one is not perfect either)

  Entertainment

  The entertainment was fantastic. Maggie would not only inform everyone what was upcoming, but she did it in an enthusiastic way. She was great.

  Awesome experience at the maiestic elegance in costa mujeres

  We have been visiting the cancun / maya riviera area for more than 30 years. For our anniversary this year we decided on the majestic elegance costa mujeres and we enjoyed every moment. We booked the ‘club’ room which included our butler Enrique - who checked our room, provided aroma enhancement to our room each day, and was proactive by providing us each day’s activities and services. The restaurants were amazing, the restaurant director Sasha has assembled a team that will not disappoint you, each meal was incredible. All restaurants we explored were wonderful - steakhouse, Japanese, Italian, seafood, and Mexican were very good, food was great and the service was spectacular. The lower lobby bar was a surprise with the expert mixology of Kevin - he prepares awesome cocktails with incredible skill and experience. The supervisor of bar services - Osmand has assembled a team of positive, team oriented staff - it shows in the great service at all the bars. Pool side services were wonderful - we were served promptly with happy staff. We cannot think of any problems- they were addressed immediately to our satisfaction without any issues or need for follow up. All in all a super happy vacation experience we hope others will enjoy. Would recommend you consider this resort for your vacation plans, either a couple or family, they will not disappoint you. Great value for the quality and service provided.

  Family vacation

  This was our second stay and we can’t wait to return for our third. The kids club staff were amazing with the kids, always having arts and crafts and activities out by the pool which was super convenient for families! They were all so kind and patient with the kids. The guest services staff were also super accommodating and kind and made sure our stay was perfect! Bar tender Erik at piano bar made his speciality drinks that were amazing, highly recommend!!

  Great for families

  This was our first resort trip with our one-year-old. My wife and I go to all-inclusive resorts every year, but this was our first time traveling with our daughter. The experience was great. The resort was very family friendly, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the playroom was clutch. I can’t wait to come back again with my daughter.
