Dec 26, 2025One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed In
Chef Guadalupe prepares the most amazing quesadillas we have ever tasted. Every evening we came back just for them — they were simply unforgettable. Coming all the way from Switzerland, we can truly say that this hotel exceeded all our expectations and was absolutely wonderful. The Mexican restaurant El Mariachi Loco also stood out in a very special way. Every dish was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Jimmy took such great care of us — his kindness and attention made every visit even more enjoyable. We would also like to highlight the incredible hospitality at the reception. From the very beginning, Gyssell welcomed us with warmth and a constant smile. She was like pure sunshine, and we were always happy to see her whenever we passed by the front desk. Finally, a very special thank you to Diego from Il Bottaccio, whose excellent service and friendly personality made our dining experience there truly memorable. This stay was filled with beautiful moments and wonderful people — we will cherish these memories for a long time.

Kids Club
Alondra and Star from the kids Club are amazing, they did a lot of activities for the kids in the club, close to the pool, at the beach. Our kids enjoyed everyday.

Ricardo & Jesus December 2025
Ricardo was amazing! The events he was able to put in for the guests and the energy he cultivated was great. Jesus was another great staff member. He and Ricardo were so welcoming and mad our stay so much more than we’ve ever experienced ♥️

Service was wonderful! Escamilla at the Glee bar (Family friendly bar) was absolutely amazing. His service with the kids' drinks was great and even more amazing with the variety of adult drinks he introduced us to. Lorenzo, a supervisor at Mar House was very welcoming and helpful. Guadeloupe, a server who serves us often, went as far as remembering drink orders and having them immediately prepared for us once seated on subsequent dining experiences. Our cleaner Karina did a thorough and tremendous job with our daily room cleanings.

Good value
We stayed at this resort Dec 12-20, 2025 in a one bedroom suite with Jacuzzi in the adults only club section. It was easy to find seats or a cabana near the adults only pool, but you need to get to the beach early to get seats with an "umbrella " or cabana. Very good service at both the pool and beach with special call out to Guiermo and Moises who provided excellent service! The pool activities were super fun and Daniela, Pao and Ricardo kept everything lively. The food was just ok and the reason for the 4 star rating. Service was slow and when you did get the food, it was not always hot. Definitely avoid Mar House for dinner as that was the worst experience- but the lunch buffet was good with a lot of variety. We enjoyed the ice cream and sorbet a lot! Our butler, Omar, was very responsive and kept us up to date with planned activities.
