The hotel is great, but the Salted Rim bartenders are what takes this place to another level! The bartenders, Rafael in particular, is a real craftsman who is passionate about his work and it shows! He goes the extra mile to know his customers, create fun cocktails that you’d typically only find at a speakeasy. From chatting about the process of making tequila and tasting mezcal, to making it a fun place to try new drinks presented with finesse, this guy is exceptional! The other bartenders were fab too, but we always sought out Rafael.

Great Experience, but the Salted Rim bar made it 5 stars!!
We had a wonderful experience at this resort. It was a bit challenging to get reservations at the restaurants, but we managed. The food at the buffet was fresh and delicious, and the Salted Rim Bar was amazing, it was truly the highlight of our trip. If you stop by the bar, ask for Rafael, he was like a friend to us and knew so much. He and the team will take great care of you, he is the best!

Great hospitality and the Salted Rim bartenders take this venue to the next level!
The salted rim bar actually brought this resort to 5 stars! The bartenders are craftsman who take a lot of pride in curating amazing cocktails that you’d only find in a speak easy for $25+ Rafael was our favourite, offering insight on what makes a great tequila, the process of making mezcal and then taking the time to know us as customers. He is definitely someone committed to his craft. The resort was nice, but if you want to elevate your visit, be sure to stop in at this bar. It’s really a special place with some real experts!
