Beautiful resort with serene waters on the beach. Beach was not crowded, we could stay there all day. Relaxing beds and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to everyone needs. I would love to come back.

Great location, beautiful grounds, helpful staff. We had a wonderful stay--enjoyed the pool, beach, gym, restaurants. Nori was great! Used our rental car to visit El Yunque, Loquillo + kiosks, Farjado, etc.

When you arrive at the hotel they put a 380.00 hold on your card they don’t tell you this up front each day they charge you a 100.00 a day for security deposit plus 83.00 resort fee

Jun 15, 2025Beautiful Resort, Good Service Staff, Not recommended for extended stay
The resort is remote, beach area and pool are the highlights and definitely enjoyable. I feel an obligation to inform other travelers of a few important things I wish I was aware of prior to my extended stay booked here. The fact that it is in a remote location if you do not have a rental car you are far removed from any near by restaurants and/or food options other than what’s available at the resort. The restaurant food quality I felt was awful, even the small coffee shops and cafes. You will pay a resort fee on top of the already inflated prices tips are also already added into the bill in addition to the taxes and resort fees. First night we stayed I took my family for a quick breakfast 2 donuts a breakfast croissant, 2 coffee and our bill was around $80 total. There is not a sit down restaurant available that will cost you less than $175-200 per table. Also If you do not have dinner reservations at the restaurants in the resort ahead of time you will go hungry or have to order room service. Another draw back I felt was that the rooms are spread out very far from the amenities so if you are not fit or have small children you will want to take a golf cart back and fourth from your room to the main hotel each time it’s recommended to tip your golf cart driver. Lastly if you thought you’d like to Golf here I could not find any available tee times and looked beyond my stay over a month after my check out still no available tee times. I’m assuming that is something you either have to book out a year in advance or ask the resort how to book a tee time. I saw maybe two groups golfing the entire time I was there. Also keep in mind the resort fees, it is additional $28 per day spent on top of the resort fees you pay each time you buy something. They do not take cash anywhere so they can add their service fees to your bill each time you purchase something. Not saying this is a tourist trap but certainly operates like one. All the negatives aside if you are okay with things mentioned above the tropical escape is overall a beautiful experience just felt things mentioned above would have been known ahead of time and we would have looked elsewhere or split our stay to just a weekend trip. After check out we had an extra $500 tab on top of our original booking and stayed for 4 nights, we only ate dinner two times at the resort and about 3-4 adult beverages.

Beautiful restaurant, foods very amazing,staff super friendly.
They are amazing . Kevin and Anthony are my favorites.they are very lovely lovely people.foods are sooo good and so clean.the service very very great.the restaurant is beautiful and clean.me and my husband definitely come back .
