We lived our stay at this hotel! The beautiful location was just the beginning to a wonderful trip. Rebecca at the front desk was kind, courteous and left us a wonderful note making us feel incredibly welcomed. Carlos at the restaurant went above and beyond in his service and was the hi-light of our trip. His service and attention to guests was a 10/10!! Thank you, Carlos, for the wonderful hospitality!!

I had one of the rudest encounters with reception I have ever come across. After querying an odd payment on my credit card I was mocked and rudely dismissed. I am actually allowed to query odd payments that have been put through without any authorisation! By both the man at reception and the manager. Appalling! The Westin needs to sort these two out and make sure they aren’t allowed near guests.

Sep 26, 2025Penthouse experience, disappointing incessant noise from AC units on roof
I stayed in one of the penthouse rooms with my Mum in Feb 2020, right before the pandemic started. It was a wonderful experience My Mum passed on in December, so when stopping in here, on my way to Australia, I decided to treat myself again to the penthouse experience The location of #2100 is in the northeast corner and has views both to the north and east, including Diamondback mountain. This was a nice surprise as last time there was "just" the amazing Diamondback view I was disappointed, when out on the balcony, that there was no way to hear the ocean over the loud hum of air-conditioning units nearby. I don't remember that being a negative feature last time - I'm guessing because we were situated closer to the south side Also, I missed the luxurious lounge/sun beds we had last time. This unit had a (not so comfortable) sofa and 2 chairs. I'm guessing that I could have requested that latter but didn't try. Otherwise, loving my stay at this idyllic and iconic spot

Great food and wine
We visited the Moana Surfrider Beachhouse on two occasions. The food and the service was good - and it is a beautiful outdoor setting with the ocean in the background

5 Star Property
Fantastic place. Beautiful property and the front desk workers are excellent. Rooms are updated, clean, and spacious. The outdoor restaurant has great food. Only minor complaint is that the pool is tiny and often cannot accommodate the crowds. Also, this hotel is situated in a clean and safe area and you can walk to several shops, restaurants, etc.
