    Save your money go elsewhere

    If you are looking for a exceptional experience don't do it here. Occidental Xcaret is so focused on selling you whatever they can to make profit. They forget that you are a guest paying money to be here to enjoy their property. Their focus is to sell their Xcaret counterparts. Their team members aren't focused on customer service if you need help they refer you to a barcode. Good luck finding anything. Plus you are committed to staying on their property so you have to buy all of the expensive items. If you need a cab to get to playa del Carmen get ready to pay that's how they make money.

    Poor housekeeping

    Housekeeper did not replace dirty towels left on floor; would not refill minibar unless tipped "extra"; removed 2 pillows from the beds; was rude when asked about it. Housekeeper stated she only gets 14 clean towels per floor and when they run out, you have to call the front desk to order towels and if we didn't like it, then we should complain. Bedroom light flickered like a strobe light. Bathroom sink and trash can were always dirty. Room service is not part of All Inclusive package. Spa was extremely small, and the shower water was cold. Best part about hotel is the close proximity to Xcaret park, within walking distance.

    Overall great experience plus amazing deal for Xcaret water park. Paid 260 person for unlimited ins and out at the water park

    Rigoberto perez from italian ristorante olivos at occidental xcaret the best profesional server on the complex, 10 of 10 , highly recomended for groups and family packages, server doesn t miss a detail !!!
