    Fabulous resort

    Would highly recommend this resort and if able to upgrade to Royal level. The food at the french restaurant there is the best.

    Beautiful Resort

    The property was beautiful and the amount of roaming animals was fun to see! It’s a big resort with a lot of walking to get places. Do not attend the time share thing. It’s a waste of time and even if you bought into it you still pay what you would if you booked the trip on Expedia or more. Overall the resort is nice and very cool with all the roaming animals

    Vacation in Occidental Hotel & Resort

    Overall, this place were nice, clean, food and drinks were great. Employees were friendly, polite and attentive to our needs while staying in your hotel. October 11 thru 18th, 2025.

    Good eats

    Our waiter was outstanding attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. He anticipated our needs, offered great menu suggestions, and made sure everything arrived promptly. His warm attitude and genuine care truly elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend his service!

    The "Xcaret" is a wonderful destination for vacation.

    I stood in my barcelo suite. Andrea and Josue great hostees. I enjoyed my time at the Occidental at Xcaret. Pools are over the place. Restaurant's with different foods to chose from. Gracias!!
