    Stop Searching.. You Found Your Next Destination!!

    My Wife and I loved our stay at the Occidental! The staff was very friendly and inviting, for a all inclusive resort this one is by far our favorite. It isn't as large as the mega resorts which means you get a more personal experience. Great place for you , your Wife or Husband and your adult friends to sip your drinks pool or beach side and then hit up the Dive shop for some truly unreal experience's. When you come back hungry they will have you covered with a rotating menu in the all you can eat buffet or one of the several Restaurants . Last thing I'll say is play the noon or 4pm volleyball, its a ton of fun!

    Occidental great experience

    We had a great week at occidental in October 2025. Water is beautiful, weather was also very beautiful, axel activity director has lots of energy and keeps you busy if you want. Santos at lobby bar is amazing, always attentive to you as well as Laura at pool bar. We had a great time! Would definitely return

    Disappointed

    This resort could be amazing but they have several areas of improvement. A positive is the snorkeling. Went out a couple times and were able to see many varieties of fish, lobster, conch, and rays. We’ve traveled to two resort a year for the previous five years and have experienced great and not so great. This was the worst of all. Paying for the Royal Level didn’t improve the experience of the stay like we expected. Especially when comparing it to our experience of the Royal Level at Barcelo in Aruba. Would return to Cozumel just a different resort.

    Amazing views and amazing staff

    We had such an amazing fun time here, the staff honestly made it so much fun putting on events and games for us! Super attentive and always there to help us. The views are amazing and we loved how close the beach was to us and the sunset was incredible each night! Would highly recommend! The food was also very nice, we especially loved the buffet at lunch. Special thanks to Jesus and Adriana for being so fun and playing volleyball with us! We highly recommend! Thank you Occidental Cozumel!
