    🌴 Phenomenal Stay! 🌴

    Our experience at Occidental Cozumel was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and top-notch service. The resort is tucked away in a beautiful, lush jungle setting that makes you feel like you’ve escaped to a tropical paradise. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with charming decor that matched the natural vibe of the island. The beach was absolutely stunning— crystal-clear turquoise water and plenty of shaded loungers. The snorkeling right off the shore was some of the best we’ve ever experienced with vibrant marine life. Every meal we had was delicious. The buffet offered a wide variety, and the à la carte restaurants delivered excellent service and flavorful dishes. We especially loved the beachside lunch options. What really made our trip exceptional was the friendly, attentive staff who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly made us feel like valued guests. Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, dive into snorkeling, or enjoy the beautiful pools and delicious dining, Occidental Cozumel can deliver it all. We would definitely go back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The stay was very beautiful!!! The food is very delicious. Mexican food, seafood, pizza, Mediterranean food and the buffet has a wide array of different foods to choose.

    Girls Trip

    Our group of nine women had a great time at the Occidental. We picked this property based on the location for diving and were very please with the service. The staff was amazing and very attentive. We would go back.

    Great place to relax!

    We just returned from a week at this hotel. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews so upgraded to the Royal Level. My hubby has gluten issues and we did not want to eat a buffet for most of the week. We were very pleasantly surprised and pleased (but because we had upgraded, it DID make a difference on the food). They have GF bread and desserts available at all of the specialty restaurants as well as La Carreta. Pros: EXCELLENT STAFF - have stayed in a lot of higher end all-inclusives and the people here were absolutely the best we've come across. They go out of their way and they work long hours (as many do in Mexico). Always greeted with smiles and geniune warmth. They all said they loved their job. WONDERFUL BEACH - though smaller, it's never crowded, nice walk in, can stroll down to Allegro and beyond. NO CHAIR GAMES - enough said BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS - very well maintained, lots of Coatis hanging around. SPACIOUS ROOMS - and clean! Cons: MAIN BAR HAS NO ATMOSPHERE - they have a nightly show but the main lobby bar is very dull. Need to have a little music or something to add ambiance. Not looking for a party, just some atmosphere. BUFFET - average. Could always find something but glad we didn't have to eat it for 3 meals a day. I highly recommend this for couples looking to relax and not be entertained. And that is what we did, RELAX!!!! I don't recommend for a younger couple that might want a little more action at night. Pool activities were decent, and there is no beach volleyball but there is a game or two at the pool daily. We enjoyed our week here and have no regrets. I would recommend booking the Royal Level if you have any food allergies, expectations and don't want to eat at the buffet most of the time. Well worth it!

    Extraordinary

    We have been to Cozumel 50+ times and have stayed in dozens of resorts. All resorts in Cozumel are what we call “Cozumel Average”, not bad but absolutely nothing memorable until our recent stay at Occidental. What clearly sets this resort apart is the absolutely extraordinary food served at The Royal Restaurant and the lunch buffet on the water was consistently tasty. Not just the food but the people and service was extraordinary. Always a smile and a genuine interest in taking care of their guests. We’d like to especially recognize the following folks that we grew to know and love, Claudia Vargas, Armando Moo, Ingrid Tuyub, Shany Aguilar, Roger Caamal, Lucio Casanova and Chef Pedro Chan. We will truly miss you all!
