Apr 28, 2025Very nice resort
Lovely resort, good food, friendly staff and entertainment that was second to none! Rooms were clean & comfortable. The beach is level, making easy walking & seems to go on for miles. The water was rough when we were there, making it somewhat dangerous if caught unawares by a big wave. There is a hospital across the street, as well as a weekly market, with many vendors and lots of merch to choose from.

clean and refreshing, good food, ambiance, pool beautiful, beach expansive and landscaping wonderful. service very nice, close to shops and exploring, climate refreshing ' hot tub available, entertainment could use a little improvement

Another good stay!
Staff made our 12 day stay a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Elizabeth, Fernanda, Lorena and Lourdes at the spa made us feel great. Luis, Jesus and staff at the buffet ensured we were well fed. Martin at Bell Desk ensured we got where we're going quickly and safely.This was our second time staying at the resort and we hope to come back again.

Having 4 kids they are everywhere. We have travelled numerous places around the world and never have we had anyone serve obscene amounts of alcohol to an underage patron/customer.We have dealt with our son and let him know that in no way was it ok to drink after hours or anytime in that matter. He has huge consequences with his behaviour, but staff HAS to be more vigilant on who they serve. 2 days of alcohol poisoning is so unacceptable

Overall, a decent value for a family of 6. Definitely not a 5 star resort as is claimed in Google. The food was good, not limited options. Dinner reservations for restaurants were hard to get. The El Mariachi restaurant was horrible. The Chile relleno was awful. The chile was not softened and it was in tempura batter which was bizarre. The beans were awful. The only nice thing was the service. The best restaurant is Tokyo. Our chef was engaging and inclusive to everyone at the table. The food was excellent and it was a great time. The buffet was good and I really appreciated that the salsas were spicy. Good pandulce and dessert options. We would not return as Nueva Vallarta is 30 minutes from downtown and too far. It was a fine time and the staff was very friendly.
