Above average, smaller feel, great beach
Went for a week with my mom at the end of April. We had a lovely time, and spent the entire trip at the beach. We are not picky, and definitely overlooked a lot of things about the resort, but they provided us a lovely stay, fresh meals, daily, delicious drinks, and an overall welcoming staff! Nothing extravagant, and the rooms and the hotel itself are definitely dated but well kept overall. They do a great job with the entertainment, staff and service staff. Met some lovely people, and never felt overcrowded!

Meh, first and last time…
Wanted to try something new. Been to many resorts but never in the DR. This place is nothing to rush to. Pool, beach was nice, as expected. Staff rarely crack a smile and the food was average, at best. Hotel is a bit dated, pool is large and clean, rooms were load, and can hear way too much of your neighbors. I’ll stick with Mexico, but if offered a trip, there are worse spots

Royal Level
We stayed at the Royal Level for 10 days and unfortunately experienced water damage on the second day. The staff did everything they could, and we were given another room the following day. ¨ + The beach, the location, the staff, the gardens, the pool -Royal Level Restaurant: it would be nice to add a vegetarian dish to the menu. Unfortunately, the tractor with the red trailer that collects the seaweed from the beach isn't very good. Next to it, at the Princess Bavaro, the seaweed is collected by another tractor with a green trailer, which leaves a much cleaner beach.

Not the best, not the worst
Rooms had working AC for first few days, after that they stopped working. Maintenance would come and spend a lot of time trying to fix it, would say it will start working in 30 mins and we would go back to the room and it still wouldn’t be working. Our last day the ceiling broke apart and starting falling off in the bathroom from the heat and moisture. Food was ok. Pool is crowded with locals on weekends. Entertainment was good, nice beach but could be raked more from seaweed. They had a tractor one day it looked like then one other day we saw the raking it by hand. Try and get a good spot on the beach under the trees for shade because there are no cabanas. Workers speak little English. Aesthetically pleasing resort, good wifi in room, beach and in lobby. Pizza bar and taco bar were good at night and snack bar food was good. A la cartes were decent. Buffet was hit or miss. We all were ill the last few days but not sure what could have caused that. Overall ok but not worth what we paid unfortunately.

Maria Lopez, Sayonara Mateo, Estafany were excellent help and very kind. Words alone cannot express my gratitude at the quality of their service. We are wishing them all the best in their future endeavors and we will miss them dearly. We love you all.
