Absolutely love this resort!
The room was perfect! Comfortable bed! Absolutely best service from all staff. We are premium club members and cannot praise the service we received enough. Romain was our butler. Top notch! There is work being done after Melissa but that didn't interfere with our vacation at all. We stayed 10 days and will definitely be visiting our 'family' at OEB again!

Family vacation at the Ocean Eden Bay
We went to Ocean Eden Bay for 10 days. We arrived on December 3. It was absolutely a great vacation. The people went over and above to make us happy. Everything is open...entertainment, abundance of food, rooms are spectacular and the people are exceptional. Some people that made our stay very special are: Monique - concierge of food and beverage, Jason lobby bardender, Monque - Steak house hostess, Tavia - waitress, all the pool entertainment staff, Tashe - Juice bar, Mellisia - great hostess, Amanda - Marlin pool bar, Shearon - lobby bar tender, Kasheena - Captian Market greeter . I celebrated by birthday at the Steakhouse and they decorated and had a special birthday cake for me. It was truly a wonderful vacation. A must go place!!

Great Staff. Disappointing Hotel and operations.
I first want to say that the staff is wonderful and polite. They get a 5 stars on their own, but the resort was disappointing. When we arrived, everything seemed great. We actually got there a little late, so our first night we just ate and walked around at night. The first day we could not find any open chairs at either pool. It turns out that everyone gets up early and goes to reserve their chairs since they are limited. We have seen this at other resorts, but they had enough available for the guests. USE YOUR OWN THERMOS. Our third day, we noticed that they are reusing the plastic cups for drinks. My wife even saw them taking them out of trash to reuse them and then saw that they weren't really washing them and just rinsing them out. The beach here was super windy and the beach is rocky so you might want to bring water shoes. The last 2 nights I had the Flu and slept most of the time. Again, the staff was great but the hotel was more than disappointing. We were told that Bahia Principe was a better experience by another guest even though it was a little further.
