In particular we want to give a shout out to Faith, our hostess at the Coffee Bar. She helped us plan out excision to swim with the Manta Rays. She was so knowledgable helpful and I so appreciated her assistance in choosing the right crew. Thank you Faith!!!

October stay at outrigger
Tessa was so friendly and helpful! The valet ‘s were so kind- always a pleasure. Review your bill on arrival- hotel charged us double for resort fee and I needed to go back twice to get my rate as quoted online.

Checks all the boxes and adds mucho Aloha.
We have stayed at other Outriggers, so when booking to the Big Island, we naturally looked for their property. It did not disappoint. Recently renovated, the property seemed refreshed and contemporary, although there were some small indicators that the bones of the property were from an earlier era... (no exhaust fan in the bathroom!) But any trivialities were offset by a wonderful staff living Aloha. We have been to Luaus on all the Islands and the Feast and Fire at Outrigger is in the top tier. The food was very good and the show was outstanding. Our room overlooked Keohou bay, so we got a wonderful view of the sunsets and the snorkeling boats each night. The pool bar was nice, with some very good snacking options, and again, excellent staff. I would be remiss not to mention that Piko, the onsite dining, could use a little attention. We had dinner one night and the food was very good, but it seemed they might have been understaffed that night. The food came out timely, but our server was not as polished as you would expect at a venue like this. Overall, I don't think you can find a full service, up-market property in Kona that checks all the boxes that the Outrigger checks. Good location and an Aloha staff to boot. Many thanks (Mahalo).

Overall, the Outrigger was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, and we had a great view of the manta ray bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking valet, Ron, was especially so. Every time we got the car from him, he'd ask where we were going and offer recommendations for other places to stop nearby. The restaurant bar was a great place to stop for an after dinner cocktail. The Voyager 47 club was amazing. Great breakfasts, and the appetizers during happy hour were very hearty. The only negatives were related to housekeeping. Coffee pods and cups were not restocked every day, garbage was not always emptied, etc. Aside from this, it was a great place to stay on the Big Island.

Amazing Getaway!
We loved our 5 day stay at the Outrigger! The amenities at the resort tempted us to never leave! The beautiful adult pool was relaxing and calm. We took advantage of it every day of our visit! The voyager Club 47 Lounge was a highlight of our visit. We are so glad we added that to our travel package! Live music each night provided a beautiful evening atmosphere to end each beautiful day, Every employee we cane across was helpful, kind and welcoming. We would return in a heartbeat! Thank you, Outrigger Staff for an amazing getaway!
