  Simply Amazing

  We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this incredible resort, and I can’t say enough good things! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of — every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was absolutely amazing with a great variety and quality that exceeded our expectations. But the real showstopper? The overwater bungalows. They were simply stunning — beautifully designed, incredibly relaxing, and offering the most breathtaking views. Every detail was thoughtfully done. This place is pure paradise, and we’re already dreaming of coming back!

  Powder white sand, crystal clear water, and family-level service

  My wife and I have been coming here for about 8 years. We come 1-2x/year. We absolutely love it. The beach and water are other-worldly. Absolutely beautiful. The food is exponentially better than you would expect from an all inclusive. It truly is gourmet all inclusive. But what makes us come back besides the beach and food is the service. This place is becoming like a second home to us. We have developed relationships with so much of the staff. It’s nearly impossible not to. They are lovely. So kind and warm. The warmest is Yasser, the Palafitos butler. You won’t find a kinder heart anywhere. I legitimately get sad to leave him each time, as I feel like he is family. He is an incredibly hard worker too. He’s always running around getting anything and everything his guests desire. He cares deeply about making your experience unforgettable and his smile will light up your day. He’s a wonderful human and my Mexican familia. William is right there with him too. William goes above and beyond for us every time. These two butlers shine above everyone else, and most of the other butlers are still darn good! William made sure that my wife has special items that she loves, he decorated the room beautifully for our anniversary and he scored major points for me with my wife. He took time out of his own day to find items for me that I really wanted and did it without expecting anything in return. His laugh is contagious and he’s just wonderful. Top notch. Speaking of happiness, you may not find a happier human than Alberto at the Palafitos. He’s the perfect bookend for the trip. He picks us up in his golf cart and brings us to our room or anywhere else we need and then brings us to the car when we leave. Even in the midst of being sad to go, seeing his smiling face as the last memory of Maroma always brightens the mood. He is joy personified. He exudes happiness and kindness. And my goodness… he remembered my wife’s and my name a year later! He not only greeted us with our names, he did it enthusiastically and sincerely was happy to see us. I don’t get that warm of a welcome when I visit family. It’s impossible to be in a bad mood around Alberto. He is sunshine and a highlight of our trip. Daniel the room service delivery man at PALAFITOS is such a hard worker. I think some people overlook him because the butlers get the most attention but he is amazing. He should be a butler. He’s better than several of them. He is very happy and kind but my goodness was that guy works hard. He would check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed and was always rushing to get everything we wanted in a timely manner. He is a hidden gem at Maroma and needs to be promoted. If I was managing a hotel, I would want to build a team around this man and the people I mentioned above. Eliseo at Lima Limon is also amazing and is a huge asset to this resort. He is so friendly and has done many favors for us that go far above and beyond that of a server at a restaurant. We look for him every trip and he makes us feel at home. Leo was my bartender at Palafitos and I had so much fun with him. We would create drinks together and he gets so excited about it. He has such a happiness about him and really was a treat to get to know. I also really enjoyed Alejandro at the bar there. He remembered my wife’s drink and always makes sure to say hi to me. Lazaro and Christian were fantastic at Palafitos restaurant. Both top notch guys and add to your experience. Agustin served us at the member gala and has been there forever. He’s very professional and a great server. Fernando at Palafitos always smiles and waves to me and always makes sure I’m taken care of. There are many other wonderful people who make up the staff at Maroma. This place is magical and I highly recommend it. But these people make me come back over and over again and make me feel at home. I love them.

  Paradise & Pleasure

  We truly love it here. The staff have become family as my husband and I return year after year to unwind and recharge in paradise! The location is unbeatable. White power sand beaches and beautiful clear water. We came during seaweed season and had some brown water days but that didn’t stop us from enjoying each glorious second! We also know that Mother Nature does her own thing. The seaweed was not an issue for us and the resort has staff working tirelessly to remove it. The beaches are heaven on earth with lush green jungle surrounding it. William and Yasser are beyond spectacular personal butlers. They both go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. They are attentive and very thoughtful. Yasser brought inflatable water chairs for my husband and I to enjoy in the ocean, and William decorated our room for our anniversary. We have loved getting to know them both over the years and always look forward to seeing them when we visit. I highly recommend requesting them! You will be truly blessed in their presence. Rafael at the palifitos beach is an awesome beach butler. He sets up the beach chairs and brings cold water and snacks faster than anyone I’ve seen. Even on the super hot days he runs around making sure his patrons are replenished. He has an awesome personality too. Rene at the bar is welcoming and always open to creating a fun drink for you! Leo at the Palafitos bar also went above and beyond helping my husband create drinks while also educating him on some local spirits. Daniel Ramirez the palifitos room service delivery man is absolutely on top of his game. He is quick and did a great job making sure I had all the drinks, condiments, and chips my heart desired. It rained pretty hard one day and he brought me snacks in the middle of it and had a huge smile on his face. Bless him. In the palifitos restaurant Christian and Lazaro did a great job making our dining experience smooth. Christian went above and beyond by bringing my husband popcorn which was incredibly thoughtful! Eliseo at Lima limon is an excellent waiter. Very attentive and always had a huge smile on his face and a willingness to serve. Last but certainly not least is Alberto- who bookends every trip. He is the initial contact, and the last hug of our stay. He is ready and eager to drive us anywhere we need to go, and if we decide we need to exercise he’s there cheering us on! Alberto is true sunshine! Whether you are walking past him or enjoying a trip in his golf cart his smile and warm personality make you truly feel at home. He remembers names like no one I’ve ever met and goes out of his way to ensure you are doing great and having a good day. He has always been one of my favorite parts of our trip to Maroma. We will never forget him simply because he is that memorable!! I hope you are all lucky enough to have these amazing staff members during your visit!!

  Amazing, wonderful and also would come back to Palafitos!

  The service of everyone is amazing, our butler Aldo was fabulous. Our driver Alberto was so friendly just superb! I would definitely suggest Palafitos to everyone looking for an amazing vacation. All the activities from parasailing to the cenotes to swimming with the dolphins to Mexican fiesta, snorkeling, nightly live music, swimming in the ocean just wonderful.

  Booking again for sure!!

  Everything was amazing!!! I am no princess but they all treated me as such. The room was clean and every extra detail was thought out. Rooms are quiet and with the private pool, sundeck, deck and steps to the ocean there is really no need to ever leave this resort! Being in direct connection with my butler's on WhatsApp made everything so easy and fast. Honestly of all I asked I never heard the word "no". I will MOST definitely return and may insist on William, Daniel and Eduardo being my butler's again! I was very emotional on arrival due to the recent loss of my mother and aunt and just needed to chill and heal. Palafitos and all of their staff helped make this happen. I feel amazing.
