    Awesome visit and the food was great. Waiter Matthew did an excellent job, along with many of the other servers and helpers in the business. A pleasant experience. Would visit again.

    Worse experience.

    We booked for October 31st until November 2nd as our mini honeymoon and we were checking in right after our wedding. When booking, I requested some flowers or something nice to surprise my partner. I paid for a king suite ocean front that has a personal balcony and they put us on a regular 2 queen bedroom. The front desk person named Emanuel had the worse actitude. He told us that we were wrong and that I booked a double queen room. I had to show him my reservation from my phone for him to believe us. Then he proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait 4 hours for the room to be cleaned. At this point we were not happy about the whole situation. He talked to his manager and told us that the room would be ready in 30 to 40 minutes. We ended up waiting 3 hours for the room to finally be done and never got an apology from him, and to top it off they did not fulfill my request. The entire weekend we were there the lazy river was not working which is the main reason why we booked at this location. On top of that, they were renovating so you could hear the noice of people working early in the morning. At check out, they surprised us with a $145 resort fee even though the lazy river did not work,on top of $110 valet fee totaling $255. Over all, this was the worse experience I ever had at a hotel. The only good thing about this hotel were the employees at the beach and at the bar. This was my second time visiting this hotel and my last.

    Great Stay

    Had a great stay at the Pelican Grand Resort for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. All the staff members were excellent - very friendly, conversational and accommodating. I took off one star because while the rooms were very spacious, the property overall is showing its age and could use a facelift. Overall great stay though.

    Great experience

    Me and my wife loved the location, rooms, staff etc....only reason do not give a 5 star i do not like 22% added hospitality to my bill anywhere i use it....would of eaten every meal there but the thought of 22%, and its not about the money, if your staying here your obviously not worried about that, it's the thought of it, so we ate off premises....

    It’s a Paradise

    The rooms are spacious and the view is outstanding. The restaurant has a great food and Mark from the valet services welcomed me every day very Polite with great customer service skills and car was always ready. Overall this resort is outstanding and I’m looking dates again to go back.
