    Nope

    Was there for a conference. I would not go back by choice. Guest toom not well maintained, with safe and overhead light not working at check-in. Shower handle broken. Evening/overnight front desk, staff not attentive to major concerns and dismissive of our report of strongly smelling gas in our room.

    Nice to experience, but not sure we will come back.

    We stayed here for 4 nights for a winter getaway. Pros: The location right on the beach was great and they provide an evening shuttle to Las Olas and Lauderdale by the Sea for shopping and restaurants. The Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a short walk down the road and was fun to explore. The food/drinks on site were wonderful and the staff top notch. It was during their cold spell so we only used the beach one day and did not utilize the pool at all, although we would have if the weather was warmer. Cons: The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and in desperate need of an upgrade. Also, we didn't expect to be charged for the water and coffee in our room; that seemed excessive. We requested an early check in since we would be arriving at 10:30 and expected to have to wait, but 4 hours seemed a bit much and the money we spent on food and drinks while we waited did not count towards our daily $50 minimum expenditures (as per promo) because we had not officially checked in. That was a turn off from the start. Lastly, while I'm sure this was highly unusual, there was a very loud altercation outside of our room for about 15 minutes at 4:17 am with a woman screaming and yelling saying she was calling the police. When we asked about it the next day, nobody seemed to know anything about it which made us question the level of security there.

    We had a lovely experience thanks to the pleasant service and the warm smiles of all the staff.

    We would like to highlight the wonderful service we received from Mara at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort gift shop. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, and made our experience truly pleasant. Her warm attitude and genuine care for guests made a real difference. Thank you, Mara, for your excellent service!

    Exceptional food with a stunning ocean sunset!

    I had a fantastic dinner at OCEAN2000 at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort. The beachside sunset view was absolutely stunning and created the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. The food was excellent, and a special shout-out to Mike A. who provided outstanding service and helped me navigate the menu. His recommendation of the seafood risotto was spot on, delicious and perfectly prepared. Amazing food, beautiful views, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!
