Great beach getaway
I had a wonderful stay at the Pelican Grand. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help, which truly made the experience special. The beach service was more than exceptional and exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect, especially with the complimentary shuttle to nearby areas, making it easy and convenient to get around. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

Marco in In Room Dining is a GEM!
I work down the road from Pelican Grand Beach Resort so visit the hotel twice a year. Each time I come I love the quality of the room (large, clean, ocean facing, etc.), the team but especially in room dining. Marco is a true GEM, super friendly, and the food comes to fast. I would highly recommend Pelican Grand Beach Resort!

Old Florida Vibes w/ Modern Amenities and Comfort.
My wife and I booked an oceanfront king suite for a 2 day getaway at the Grand Pelican, and we could not be more delighted with the experience. We love traveling to Florida, but this was our first time in Fort Lauderdale, and boy do we plan on coming back! The property itself is delightful, but was must first be mentioned is the quality of service. Before we even got out of our uber, two attendants were at our vehicle already happily taking our luggage into the hotel for us. Upon check in, a VERY kind man named Peter carried both of our suitcases up to the room for us. Something that myself and my wife were pleasantly surprised with, and not expecting. Service throughout the resort was and remains impeccable (we’re still here). From the bartenders, waitresses, housekeepers, etc, The Grand Pelican really has a solid team at the helm of their ship. Notable staff member that made our experience above and beyond were as follows: Raya: Dining Taliyah: Dining Michael: Bar Peter: Luggage Assistance I wish we could remember more names, but there has yet to be someone who doesn’t live up to the excellent level of service here. Now… for the property itself. After booking, I was surprised to see a few reviews mentioning the hotel needed some “updating” or that there were minor cosmetic issues regarding the hotel. While some very insignificant spots around the hotel could use a touch up of paint, I was pleasantly surprised to arrive to a GORGEOUS hotel, massive suite, and unbelievable views. You could throw a rock from your room to the ocean if you have a solid throwing arm. Beach chairs and umbrellas are set on the beach specifically for individual guests when they arrive and request them. There is even bar service as you lounge on your beach chair and take in the sun and waves. All in all, for the price that we paid for our two night stay here, we could not be any happier and are highly encouraging family and friends to make the visit. If you are on the fence about staying here or elsewhere in Fort Lauderdale, take the chance. The team at Grand Pelican alone will make you feel at home and important, no matter the size of your wallet. Kudos to the staff here and thank you for all you do to make the experience so special.

Pre Christmas Getaway
We had such a great retreat from the cold and snow up north but also relaxed on the beach. We explored the local area, taking a trip on the water taxi which was excellent viewing of holiday lights and a few area restaurants (Zitos is worth the visit). Thank you to Olisha at the front desk, Alec and John at the beach and Peter the Bellman for all your kindness and helpfulness. The Christmas decorations and music plus the daily holiday activities really set the mood even when we could walk right out onto the beach and enjoy the sand and waves. Such a variation to experience at this time of year when things are usually hectic.

Was charged the incorrect amount with my amex credits not applied. Called to try and resolve and was purposfully put on hold until i was forced to hangup. Email support was unhelpful. Issue never resolved.
