Sep 30, 2025Very bad experience
What happened to us at this resort is keeping us up at night. We arrived at the hotel around 12:00 PM, possibly even earlier. Upon arrival, we were informed that the earliest we could get our room would be in 3–4 hours. I want to emphasize that we have a child who is not even 2 years old — this is unacceptable, especially since our child had been awake since 3:00 AM. We booked a room with a king-size bed, but after practically begging to finally receive a room, we were given one with two queen beds. With a 2-year-old child and no space for a crib, this is simply a joke. We were then told that the room we had originally booked would only be available the following day, which is absolutely unbearable. To make matters worse, the room they gave us didn’t even have a crib. We were exhausted and desperate, waiting while our child was crying, for someone to finally bring one. Now, we’re all lying here tired, sweaty, and hungry, waiting until the next day for someone to treat us decently so we can actually start our vacation. So far, this has been nothing short of a nightmare. I want to stress that this will be our last stay at this resort. We have stayed here before, but back then we didn’t have a child, so we overlooked the inconveniences. Today, we realize that was a mistake. We will make sure that no one we know books a vacation at this hotel in the future.

We had a great experience at PH cancun despite not having the best weather. We thought the food was pretty good all around and the service was great! Shout out to both of our butlers Roy and Vic for taking great care of us and all our special requests for our kids to make our stay extra special. We also had great service at the Italian restaurant and really enjoy that food as well. Our young girls also enjoyed the kid centric entertainment at night (pinata, dancing, games, etc!) We plan to return next September!

Stayed for 7 days at Planet Hollywood in Star Class. We decided to pay extra for the Butler service and it was well worth the money spent. Frank Hernandez went above and beyond to make us feel safe, welcome and at home for our entire trip. We are planning a return for next year and will be requesting him specifically. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Especially Marco at the pool side bar, Marco for the pool butler service, Julio poolside wait staff, Roger at poolside wait staff and all the entertainment crew. Take time to get to know them. They are all wonderful people.

Our Wedding Venue - Review after 3 day trip in preparation for Wedding
We have our wedding booked at Planet Hollywood Cancun this November for almost 100 guests — myself (English) and my fiancée (Mexican). Guests have booked through TUI, directly with the hotel, and via our wedding agent. All of the booking processes were smooth and easy, and communication has been excellent throughout. TUI agents always visible onsite and they have been great, ensuring everything is ready for my family and friends arrival. We are working closely with Linda from the hotel’s wedding department, and she has been absolutely incredible so far. Everything is well organized in preparation for our big day. The ballroom is huge and beautifully set up to host medium to large weddings, and we are so excited for our cocktail hour and wedding reception on the beach. In September, we visited the resort for a 3-day wedding planning trip to make sure everything was on track and also to experience the property firsthand. The entire stay was fantastic. The hotel grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, with white sand beaches and turquoise waters. The buffet was our go-to for breakfast and quick lunches, and it offered plenty of variety. The gym deserves a special mention — it’s spread across two floors and one of the best we’ve seen in a resort. Service across the hotel is warm and attentive, which is exactly what we love about Mexico: the people and the culture. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds that make for a perfect rest after a full day. Multiple swimming pools, lazy rivers, swim-up bars, sports courts, and nightly entertainment shows mean there is always something to do. We will have the most memorable and beautiful 10 days here with us for our wedding. Vamos México! 🇲🇽✨

We had an amazing vacation thanks to the assistance of Stefani flores, I think thats her last name. we are not to tech smart and had issues making reservations, getting around the resort everytime I was lost, because its a large resort. She helped us With our romantic dinner for our 25th anniversary wedding anniversary, planet Hollywood did a great job hiring her. She made the vacation and anniversary unforgettable.
