- La CordeliereOffers fine ocean-view dining in its casually elegant interior or al fresco on the shaded terrace – the perfect place for masterfully prepared meals and festive theme night buffets. The naming of La Cordeliere is a tribute to an important time in Mazatlán's history when a small group of valiant local men warded off the invasion of the awesome French warship for which the restaurant is named.

Great property
Attended this resort Jan 14-28. Had a good time. The staff were most helpful. My wife sprained her ankle as she stepped off the bus when we first arrived. Staff members were quick to help and brought a wheel chair for her. They upgraded our room to a full suite with an amazing view. Special shout out to Angel & Jose at the adult pool bar for their excellent service. Thanks guys.

Another day in Paradise
A very beautiful resort, the prettiest timeshare we have ever been to. It fits into the natural beauty of the environment so that at times it seems like you're looking down on the Mediterranean, at other times you are in the jungles of Central America. The grounds are well-kept, with iguanas running around. The only negative is that some of the rooms need updating. The restaurants on site have generally been good. This time, however, we ate at some of the local restaurants in town and cooked in our room. There is a shuttle bus that brings people from Emerald Bay to its sister property in town and back. Service has always been very good, and this time was no exception. Evelyn was terrific at Activities, Julio on waitstaff, was friendly and always helpful, and Jesus at the Reception Area always had the answers we needed. All were very client-focused. Pueblo Bonito should be proud to have employees like them. We are already planning next year's trip.

Would Not Recommend and Not 5 Star
The grounds are stunning but it stops there. Our room had stains on the bathroom wall, holes in the blanket, stains on the sheers, rust in the sliding glass door track, cigarette burns in the outdoor lounge cushion and towels for the bathroom had rips and stains. There is mould in the washrooms, both the suites and public. Pool cushions were scrubbed with bleach or some other strong smelling chemical and then rinsed in the pool. Peeling paint in the exterior halls and railings. All inclusive is deceiving, many limitations and restrictions. I would not recommend this resort and would not give it a 5 star rating. Extremely disappointed.

Relaxing time, great spa treatments, enjoyable dining
This was my third time, solo, at this resort. I chose it because of the spa and natural beauty of the surrounds. I had the most amazing spa treatments with Laura, both facial and body massage. I would return just to repeat this experience. On my last day, after an incredible facial, I had a most enjoyable meal at Le Bistro, their À la Carte restaurant, where I was so well looked after by Gilberto, completing a wonderful day. I very much appreciated his care and attention to my dining experience, something sadly lacking at the buffet where solo diners are often overlooked, Thank you to Laura and Gilberto for creating great memories for me to hold on to now I am back in chilly Canada!
