  Good experience

  The hotel overall was an 8 ,I would say. Definitely bring lots of bug spray. If you tip well they will keep the drinks flowing. We had our honeymoon there from 10/20-10/25/25. Beautiful place and the food was descent. Also can go to the resort next door but it is a family hotel. Ramon, Lahara, and Felix were the best waiters and bartenders.

  Disappointed

  Roo.s dark, but spacious, shower defective, but when report issue resolved. Patio doors do not shut at the bottom. Balcony full of water, but we've had a lot of rain. Day 7 water now coming through ceiling in bathroom area and through the ceiling in passage way all clothing in room fes damp, like we've all been in a steam room. Floor areas a third of the room have water all over them, air conditioning sounding loud and likenits going to go bang. Have reported this issue and have been told come back at 3pm and we will move your room. Our friends have had no hot water all week and has been reported and apparently fixed 3 times. Staff are lovely, but definitely would not be recommending to anyone. For Adult Only hotel I would only rate it a 2* needs to have a lot of TLC to rooms. Outside is beautifully maintained. And restaurants are amazing.

  Really enjoyed it!

  My mum and I went to DR in September, we stayed here and we loved it! All the staff were amazing, but Juli Manuel was brilliant! So entertaining, funny and lovely! The food was delicious, entertainment was good, and a lot of variety.

  Simply the BEST!!

  We had another excellent stay at the Punta Cana Princess. This was our sixth stay in a little over a year and a half. The staff is amazing! They go above and beyond and treat you like family. Shout out to Alexander of guest services, the gals Maria & Yanelys at the front desk! Checking in & out always flawless & so welcoming! Reservations for dinners, spa appointments, arranging of shuttles always super easy & very accommodating. Our room was spectacular! Clean, cool, plenty of toiletries, towels, and a well stocked mini bar. Fresh beach towels were brought in every evening and the turn down service is such a lovely touch. We had amazing meals at every restaurant. Louis with room service is great! We always had plenty champagne! Yeicol our beach VIP service & bartender was absolutely the BEST! He makes the best Mojito EVER! And would quite often surprise us with something new to try! We were never without a cold fresh drink. The ocean was beautiful. The beach was groomed perfectly. There was little to zero seaweed during our week stay. The weather was phenomenal. We had zero rain. It was incredible. The 24 hour beach bar, the lobby bar, the pool bar and all the bartenders go above and beyond with their customer service their cheerful spirits we appreciate the kindness of Maria, Yocida, Ana to name just a few. All very accommodating. Also the staff at the restaurants & buffets. The grounds gorgeous & beautifully kept. Resort size is our perfect vibe, cozy yet entertaining!

  Closer to a 1 1/2 star resort

  This resort is terrible. Food aweful. Rooms are musty smelling. Beds are uncomfortable. If you pay for upgrade, you waste your money because you don’t get what is promised. If you have a complaint it goes on deaf ears because you can NOT speak to management ( I don’t believe there is any management to speak to). Some of the staff is rude (one afternoon the lobby bartender was trashed). The restaurants food is decent, but the buffet food is awful. Breakfast meat is either hot dogs or Spam (just in different forms/shapes). One day they actually had BACON. Showers had no hot water! I cleaned my own room and got no clean towels for showering or beach (beach towels in my room each day were a part of my paid upgrade)The beach beds were all torn up, filthy and broken frames (also a part of my upgrade). Ladders at the pool had no padding on the rungs & the rungs were loose. As a part of my upgrade I was to get top shelf liquor….. they didn’t have it, was coming in “tomorrow” ( got there the day before I left from my 7 night stay). Pro’s: the pool was beautiful & the swim up bar tender was wonderful from 10 am to 3 pm. I have been to this resort many times since 2006 and had not been back from 2020 until Oct 2025 and the place has gone down in the toilet. I will NEVER return. This place needs a total refurbish job!
