A nice stopover in Tahiti
Located on the Bay of Matavai, the hotel offers a very nice view on the black sand beach. Our room was a mezzanine suite high up in the building and offered a welcome haven after a long flight from San Francisco. The noise level was unexpected and mainly caused by other clients of the hotel as well as the cocks that were calling their hens early in the morning. Restaurant and bars were disappointing, making this hotel a good stopover on the island of Tahiti but certainly not a final destination.

Bad food. Good people. A means to an end.
This place is a means to end A place to stay after arriving in PAPETTE before going to another island The food is honestly horrible The views are beautiful in the rooms are large, but dated Totally OK for one night, especially if you get a good rate The people who work there are sweet The food however, is horrible

Lovely large hotel complex
We had a fabulous room overlooking the sea on the 4th floor. Swimming pool great it's a very large complex so not suitable for those looking for a boutique experience. A long way from any amenities so you are fairly isolated.

Ignored by servers multiple times
New building and beach are the only thing this place has going for it. Food is mediocre at best. Seated for dinner show and never asked about drinks or even provided water till asked. Ignored at bar for happy hour, had to go order drinks then once delivered never checked on, happened on two evenings. How this place is even listed on the same site as the other Tahiti Pearl resorts is a mystery. Have stayed at 2 of the others and they are great.
