    Fantastic Hotel with Great Staff

    We had such a fantastic time at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort. We took advantage of the hotel's happy hour and a huge part of what made it so memorable was our server, Mark. From the very beginning, Mark greeted us with the warmest smile and an energy that made us feel like we were regulars, even though it was our first time. He struck that rare balance of being professional, personable, and genuinely kind. Mark took the time to learn our names, asked thoughtful questions about what we liked, and gave recommendations that were spot-on. He has a natural way of making people feel comfortable and welcome—like you're hanging out with an old friend who happens to know everything about the bar menu. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it made the entire experience that much better. His positive attitude and friendly nature set the tone for the night, and honestly, it’s not something you come across often. Thank you for the great stay Renaissance Wind Creek! Can’t wait to come back!

    Great hotel

    Fantastic experience and great hotel. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The island was an amazing experience. We did a cabana and it was worth the cost. We’ve been through the Caribbean and the people everywhere were much more friendly than other islands we’ve experienced. Top notch hotel.

    Beautiful, clean rooms, great staff!

    Comfortable bed, terrible pillows. So happy I packed my own, husband regretted not doing so. Amazing staff everywhere you went. ESPECIALLY the housekeeping staff! They were amazing and came by twice a day to make up the beds and tidy up in the morning and in the evening to make sure you had towels and water and left delicious chocolate on your pillows. Very clean, pretty rooms. Aquarius buffet restaurant was a little pricey at $40/person even if you just wanted a muffin or a yogurt. Better go on an empty stomach and eat all you can. Steak house was a special birthday treat, also a bit pricey, but HIGHLY worth the price! Definitely recommend it. Took the water taxi to the private flamingo island where there is an adult only side and a family side. Flamingos travel to both sides and you can buy food to feed them. The water is clear and beautiful and the water floats are free so you can relax, lying back in the ocean. Wait staff are great and pass by frequently to make sure you always have a drink or food if you like. Can charge to the room or pay at the end of your day. Decent prices. Drinks average $10-13. We preferred the island to the infinity pool and only spent a couple of hours there in our 5 days at the hotel. My husband spent time at the casino on grounds, and we took a stroll around the attached shopping mall which has a lot of high end stores like Prada, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, etc. a lot of restaurants in walking distance, along with souvenir shops.

    Renaissance island is totally worth it

    Loved the private island. So relaxing and beautiful. This was the best part of the trip. Can’t wait to go back. Had a few hiccups at the hotel but was able to work it all out. Very quiet end of the island, close to shopping restaurants and a casino if you chose to participate.

    PERFECTION-LOCATION-PERFECTION!

    The Perfect Resort at the Perfect Location. Again, location, location, location. Everything is in walking distance! The time we arrived there was nothing but friendly and excellent service. Alexis helped us with our bags, took us to our room and explained everything to us. HE WELCOMED US HOME! The entire staff is phenomenal but my wife and I have to give the most kudos to RIANGELO! Nothing but pleasantness and smiles. I loaded him with questions about where to eat and what sites we need to go, He answered all of our questions with cheer and a smile! The resort is just PERFECT! From the infinity pool and beach, to the new fitness center (Yes, I did work out for a few minutes!) to the best wings this side of heaven from 5 o’Clock somewhere. This is definitely one of our top Caribbean vacations and will be a REPEAT!
