Jul 30, 2025Busy, loud, and mainly German
Arrived back last Sunday from a 5 night stay. Good points- nice surroundings/ lush greenery around- hotel itself ‘looks nice’ and looks high end. Excellent room - can’t fault the room - fantastic. We had a 6th floor room with great view of the city and sea. Good selection of food overall Branded soft drinks easily available in several places No English groups or lager louts! Small pool is nice and chilled Bad points- staff treat the Germans better. Groups of German lads who take over the swim up bar everyday from 2pm Ants everywhere around the sunbeds Only plastic cups Very few towels provided Our main issue was how awful Palma was. It’s like an expensive Magalaf. Very put off. A couple we met got money stolen from their table at the hotel. Staff don’t seem trustworthy Wouldn’t ever retort either the hotel or Palma

Clean, great service, great atmosphere. I've been to this hotel twice and will definitely be back. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The people who work there are wonderful.

Jul 23, 2025A Stupid Manager
We are currently traveling around Spain and decided to visit Mallorca. We stayed at Hotel Riu Bravo, where unfortunately we had one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever encountered — particularly with the manager named Víctor. We had an issue with our reservation: when booking through Expedia, we correctly indicated that we were two adults and one child. However, upon our arrival at the hotel around midnight, we were informed that their system showed two adults and one baby. As it was quite late, we chose to sleep all together in the same bed to avoid any immediate trouble. The next morning, we tried to resolve the situation with the manager, Víctor, who treated us with extreme rudeness and was completely inflexible. We attempted to explain the misunderstanding and even showed him our reservation, but he continuously interrupted us and kept insisting that the problem was between us and Expedia, and not the hotel’s responsibility. Instead of offering any assistance or attempting to find a solution, he imposed an additional charge of €85 per day for the so-called “extra child,” along with an obligation to move to a larger room — which resulted in a total extra charge of €170. The way we were pressured into paying felt coercive, almost like extortion. Given the manager’s hostile behavior and the complete lack of hospitality, we decided to pay the amount just to put an end to the stressful situation. We never expected to be treated like delinquents instead of guests.

Amazing stay!
The staff were amazing, really made the trip. Had such a great stay with quality food, can’t wait to go back
