    Could not fault the hotel at all, it was very impressive and well maintained. The staff continuously work so hard and are always friendly, helpful and polite. This includes the reception staff, cleaners, restaurant & bar staff, gardeners ..... The AC wasn't working in our room but this was fixed within a few hours of reporting it Entertainment - shows on every night and lots of effort went into the day of the dead festivities. Several pools and one had pool Entertainment each day Food - this was our first time doing all inclusive. There was so much choice in the main buffet restaurant and also several other restaurants- Chinese, Italian, steak .... My only concern was that despite there been lots of choice, the food didn't really taste of anything, no matter what you ate. This didn't appear to be an issue for others though as they piled their plates high My wife and I were quite excited about the idea of swim up bars. We did use it once but they were occupied each day by the same people making the most of the paid up drinks. This area had to be closed twice during the day to clean the pool. May have been the same drinkers that were also responsible for the sick in one of the lifts and sick in the corridor, both separate occasions. All in all a great hotel and would recommend it. Even better if certain guests treated it with the same respect as they were treated by the staff

    AC went out, AC was cut off on short notice

    Our annual family trip, Arrived late Sunday, our youngest has special needs, takes meds, and can’t be in the heat long due to the meds. Daily we go out early, and come back to the room to give meds, stay in the AC, nap our son then go back out later. Tuesday after 7 pm a notice was placed near the elevators saying AC was off from 8am-3 pm due to work being done. We did not see it until Wednesday morning. I mentioned the short notice to the front desk and how our son could not be in the heat all day. I was told the notice was placed at 3 pm Tuesday. There are cameras facing our elevator which took us to our room 4087. I would love someone to check and see when the notice was placed to prove the hotel is lying. We ended up taking a taxi to a near mall to sit inside the AC. That day was extremely hot. Tuesday night we come back to our hotel to find it full of bugs. They looked like fruit flies. I went to the front desk and spoke to Mitzy advising of the bugs and a gap in one of the room doors, A service personnel came to look at the door and said there was no gap. I have attached pictures of the door. That night an employee came and sprayed one of our two rooms. There were so many bugs, after spraying we had dead bugs all over our luggage, floor, room dresser, every corner. Just gross. The employee ran out of spray and said she would go get more for the other room. 2 hours went by, no one came back and we went to sleep since it was past 10 pm. Thursday morning the power went out. At 230 am I woke up due to the heat. No AC, no room fan, too many mosquitoes outside to open the room door. I called the hotel from my cell phone to ask about the power, I was advised it went out and should be back shortly. It came on before 3 am. At 8 am when I woke up, the AC was not working and the room was feeling warm. We usually keep it really cold and the AC set low. We got ready around 10 am and left the room since it was really warm and went outside to the pool. At 1 pm we returned to shower and the power was working but still no AC. At 3 pm I went to the front desk and spoke to a supervisor (don’t recall the name spelling) name Yueyun. She said the hotel had no control over the AC outage, this was a decision made by the electrical and power services of Cancun and the hotel had to make sacrifices. She said they needed the power so kept the lights on and had to sacrifice the AC. I advised her of our sons situation and how the rooms were too hot to be in all day without AC. There was nothing she could do, no available standing fans (which I asked for) no possible credit for all the inconveniences, no other location like a restaurant or shop on the premises that I could take my son too for the time being. The AC did not go on until about 7-8 pm. We opened the room door, but there was no breeze at all!!! All this did was invite mosquitos in. The rooms were miserable hot and my kids were tired otherwise I’d keep them in the pool all day. Just unhappy with the amount paid for a nice resort to end up with such an experience and no AC for 2 days and a nigh.

    Amazing Stay!

    We were a group of 3 families and had an amazing stay! Just 45 min from the airport, family-oriented, with impeccable service, spotless rooms, delicious food, excellent value, reasonable noise levels, and a fun, lively atmosphere (Neon Party was WOW). Beach was clean and warm. I highly recommend the Las Brazas Restaurant. The kids’ water park is super fun and fully supervised by lifeguards, keeping them busy all day. Entertainment is excellent, especially Mexican Night and the full show when the entire team performs. The hotel disco means no need to go out, and beach service is fantastic — tips go a long way (highly recommend)! I needed an extra bed blanket, and it arrived within 5–8 minutes. My room never lacked anything, and my fridge was always stocked with water, sodas, and beer. They spray for mosquitos but when it rains they come back, Bring bug spay and after bite.

    Nothing to complain about except the rude Europeans that think they are better than anyone else. Breaking in line. Taking massive amounts of food and not eating it. I can see why the U S has to recuse you all the time.
