We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I loved the modern amenities. Breakfast had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. The à la carte restaurants were one of the highlights of our stay. The menus were varied, and the quality felt like a fine dining experience. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and excellent service. It made our evenings feel special every time. We’d definitely stay here again! We absolutely loved the animation crew. They were professional, talented, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their games, fitness activities, and performances were well-organized and entertaining. Their smiles and enthusiasm made every day better. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable! Alex, Tori, and Marco stood out with their energy, kindness, and talent. Riu Party is an absolute must-do. The atmosphere is electric — great music, amazing DJs, and an energy that gets everyone dancing. The themed parties, light shows, and performances turn the night into something unforgettable. It’s the perfect mix of fun, vibes, and unforgettable vacation memories.

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary and we didn’t know what to expect. This place exceeded every expectation. The food options were 12 out of 10 and there is plenty of places to sit and the staff take such amazing care of you. I do have to shout out some of the employees because I was spending my last night there and already booked my trip for next year before we even left and that is because of Kevin, Carlos, angel and the amazing, talented Alex! I want to thank everyone for making this the most magical and fun. See you next November thank you and your amazing staff.

This was our 2nd time to Riu Latino. We've had an okay time but find it boring compared to other larger resorts.We booked for 5 nights & 4 nights is clearly the maximum for us. Arrived just after midnight to a room with two twin beds and front desk gave no fix option when asked. It was not until following day that day time front staff advised they'd happily join the beds together, so problem solved, but not sure why that wasn't already set up or accomodated upon arrival making a long travel day and arrival disappointing. Overall, staff we're all great. Drinks good. Food okay, buffet repetitive. No issues getting chairs around pool or beach. Entertainment staff do well around pool, just wish more during day beyond pool side. We're an avid gym couple and continue to be disappointed by how small the resort gym is. Honestly not even worth going to. We took free shuttle to Neon Party at sister Riu 10 min away which was a fun evening off the resort. Specialty dining: We did 3 of 4, wait time only at Steak House and beeper didn’t work so we almost missed our option to dine there. Food at restaurants is good. Limited late night & late afternoon eatery options other than pool side grill which isn't great to be honest, bland, repetitive options. Sports bar pre-made burgers/sandwiches not appetizing. Happy to see staff always cleaning and maintaining bathrooms and public areas. Slides were open only certain days. Wishes: Really wish there was a coffee bar available for guests like many larger resorts have. A good overall smaller adult only resort for those who purely want to lie around all day .

Great resort would definitely go back.
Such a great resort! All the employees were the best and so nice. The grounds, resort, pools and everywhere were so clean. The restaurants were pretty good, about the same as every other resort. My filet at Gourmet restaurant was AMAZING and the Japanese was very good. . I would definitely go back. Only one con.... the cheese sauce is runny. :( I guess if thats the only negative thats good.

We love Terecita!!
Terecita was such a kind and attentive server! She remembered our group’s drink preferences and had them ready at our table upon arrival. She went above and beyond to make a personal connection with the guests and provided excellent service.
