Overall, the hotel was nice. I had a wonderful time. I did not however get my welcome drink, the rooms could've been a little cleaner, and the friendliness overall could've been better. However, I did find a spot down the beach that had a bar and was very peaceful and relaxing away from all the partying. I did do the Phone? party and it was a blast, but I did not go to the main swim up bar pool. There were many drunk people and it was disgustingly dirty. The front desk staff was wonderful. The bags were delivered to my room and picked up very quickly. I did lose something on one of the shuttle buses, and it was very hard to get someone to help me retrieve it. The item was never retrieved, and there was never any follow up about it. Your vacation is what you make it.

What a wonderful place to unwind, have fun, eat, drink, and be merry. Upon arrival, I felt so welcome. The staff made me feel like family. So warm and inviting, always there to meet your every need. Definitely would return.

Best Holiday hands down!
Where to start with this… I went to Riu Palace Jamaica for my 30th Birthday with my Mum and wasn’t disappointed. The service was top tier! Regularly offered drinks and food at your table or sunlounger, food around the clock. Even the groundsmen greet you every morning . Shout out to bar staff Joan and Ray, they need a raise because they are amazing at their job! Also the animation team MAKES Riu Palace, those boys work so hard to entertain you all day, remember your name and personal information even though they meet lots of guests. Astro is my main man, I already miss him but shout out to Dinero and String Bean as well. They’re all seriously talented. IF YOUR A BORING PERSON AND WANT A QUIET CHILLED TIME, this one is NOT for you! I’m seeing lots of reviews about loud reggae being played poolside. If you don’t like Reggae or vibrant Jamaican culture, stay out of Jamaica. Simple. There are lots are high energy groups of Americans who are up laughing in the corridors in the night. We didn’t mind but a grumpy person might. Hotel was spotless, rooms large. You may find the odd small roach but they are indigenous to that area. One thing to note is that the hotel is directly under the flight path so the intermittent planes can be noisy. Other than that, i’d be back in a heartbeat 💗

Jul 30, 2025STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! WILL NOT RETURN
extreme disappointment and discomfort regarding my recent stay at RIU PALACE from 07/24/2025 to 07/29/2025. What was meant to be a celebratory trip for my birthday quickly turned into a distressing and unpleasant experience due to the treatment I received from your staff. During my stay, I was accused of causing "damages" and breaking policy and rules to towels that were minor and insignificant. A few makeup stains should have not caused me to feel afraid and intimidated due to their "Protocol". Rather than solving this in a peaceful manner, I was subjected to multiple phone calls from the front desk from IYANNA and Jaquline Perez. I was just subjected to repeated harassment . On my birthday, I received 5 separate phone calls that there had been some issue of damages and breakage and I was lost and confused because my room was not in despair. This in return turned into security showing up to my door to let me know that they had escalated and that I needed to report to the front desk for more information.

July holiday
Lovely hotel to stay in. Staff helpful & friendly. Rooms could be freshened up but overall great. Entertainment team good fun although I think the evening Entertainment would be good with more professional shows. My only thing that would stop me staying again is the food. Plenty selection but buffet food was luke warm at best. Out of the 4 speciality restaurants one was closed each evening. No clue to why as it was busy. Other thing is you have to book the speciality restaurants once you arrive. Only used them 4 times due to lack of availability. Overall great holiday!
