Jan 28, 2026Its all about the service, which at this hotel, is exceptional.
We arrived 5hrs late due to flight delays, welcome drinks were waiting for us and reception staff very helpful. The bedrooms are all pretty standard, ours was on the 7th floor and slightly on the side of the building affording us a view of both the sea, road beneath, and lagoon. Ive read about some people not liking those rooms but in my opinion, it gave me more to nose at. The room had optics containing vodka, rum, tequila and gin and the fridge full of soft drinks and beer which was refilled daily. . The hotel itself was immaculate. There were staff everywhere fixing/cleaning/serving. No sooner did I notice a little chip in a glass partition by the beach......someone was there to replace it. All the staff appeared genuinely happy to see us and say hello. . Everything was on a first come, first served basis. Sunbeds aplenty, people did put towels down but theres really no need, lots of beds around the 3 pools and on the beautiful beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from, we were able to walk into any between 6pm and 10pm and be seated, the Japanese being my personal favourite, but theres also Italian, Mexican, a steakhouse, a fine-dining place....all of the food was of a very high standard. . Honesty. We accidentally left our safe open one morning. It contained our passports, money and jewellery. On our return late afternoon, I was confused to see a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door which I definitely hadn't left there. Walking in I immediately saw the open safe door and panicked but needn't have. Everything was there. We assumed the maid had come in, seen the open safe and left, putting the sign on the door so no-one else would go in. . 3 pools are split between the noisy pool, the quiet pool, and the 'somewhere in the middle' pool. Noisy pool has music, exercise classes in the water and lots of other entertainment, not for us hence we generally headed for the beach which again was very clean. My only very slight complaint.....the water temperature in the pools was baltic! Im sure some people prefer that, but I couldn't get in it. . There was no pretentiousness here, everyone treated the same, all areas open to all people. . The coffee bar just inside the main door served the best coffee ive ever had. The service throughout the hotel was incredible and I'd definitely recommend staying here. . We stayed here for one week before moving onto another further down the coast for a week and to be honest, we wish we'd stayed at this one (even tho the other one was more expensive and supposedly 'better'). . Highly recommended.

Just got back from a great 7 night family holiday. Rooms - the rooms are big but probably in need of an upgrade at some stage as the furniture is dated and shower fixtures etc are old. Maid service excellent though. Food - we ate at all 5 restaurants and our favourite was the Steakhouse. If you don’t want to eat at 6 then get there just after and you get a buzzer which tells you when your table is free, usually about 7.45. The buffet is great for breakfast and lunch, plenty of choice. Pool - There are 2 pools, one lively and one quiet. If you want a lounger for the day at the lively pool in the sun then you need to get your towels down by 7.30 as they get taken quick. Entertainment good with pool volleyball, games and aerobics etc Beach - the beach is nice but we found the loungers go in the shade quickly due to the low sun in January so pick your spot carefully. Bars and Entertainment - There’s a nice bar for evening drinks and an entertainment room. Good shows and variety, we especially liked the silent disco Gym - Ok, but again, some machines in need of an upgrade. Not a 5 star gym. Special shout out to some great guests we met from Wisconsin who gave us some great tips on bar shots 🍹🍸😊. In summary, a nice hotel and a good hotel choice in Cancun

One of the best Adults Only Resorts in Cancun! Clean, Good Food, Great Staff.
Awesome resort - great location - amazing staff... What's not to love!? We have been to many resorts up and down the Cancun strip and frankly, this is one of our new favorites! The food (a major concern for a lot of visitors) was awesome. The main buffet was great - and all the a-la-carte restaurants were amazing! Our room was #348 (OceanFront Junior Suite) and was excellent. Balcony view was amazing - so close to the beach and waves! Speaking of the beach - one of the best we have seen in Cancun. No seagrass/weed rolling up - just clear clean water. The western-facing Cancun strip is usually a mess with the stuff - so getting around the 'Cancun Corner' to this side is critical if you love to be in the waves! 3 pools give you a lot of other options - but most people collected at the 'Entertainment Pool' with both bars and activities going almost nonstop! The entire resort is so clean and well appointed - you could tell the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly right! A few of our favorite staffers were Lucy (Housekeeper) - Ismael (Kristal) - Nick (Buffet) - and basically the entire entertainment staff, but we loved Melissa!

Excellent vacation…However…
We had the best rest and vacation. Food considering how many are catered for, very good. Pools something for everyone. We found busy lively places to sit and then over by the outdoor massage beds, a very peaceful quiet area too. Then the beautiful beach!! I have one major complaint. What is the awful mold/mildew smell? I just put on a t-shirt that’s I’ve washed since our trip and the same smell is still clinging to the shirt. I suspect a serious mold issue within the walls/roof of the resort. I’m so surprised that nothing seems to have been done as far as mold removal and new construction where necessary afterwards. Although our room was dated we remained positive as it was spotlessly clean every day. However some chipped/creaked tiles and a loose tile also a malfunctioning toilet (we manually tended to the flusher every time and kept the tank lid off the whole 10 days) all need to be replaced. Decor is dated and artwork completely mismatched. To summarize: please fix the obvious mold issue and update at least the bathrooms …headboard somewhat hideous too.
