    Lovely hotel

    Had a very enjoyable, relaxing week at this hotel. Location is great, walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars on the beachfront. The area is nice and safe and the beach is clean and sandy. The hotel has the most amazing staff who really stand out. Check in was quick and easy. Zuzana and colleagues always greeted you with a smile. We had a large double room with sea view which was lovely. Best shower and bathroom ever. Nice sunny balcony with amazing sunset views. Only downside was there are no lights on the balcony for when you want to read in the evenings. Big comfy bed. The housekeeping was excellent in every way. We stayed on a breakfast only basis as like to go to different restaurants in the evening. The breakfast buffet is very good. Great omelettes cooked to order and everything else you could possibly want. All different kinds of breads including sour dough etc… Nice piano bar to go to in the evening with heaters for the cooler months. You would expect the bar prices to be quite expensive in a hotel like this but only €5 for a large glass of Rioja. Served by a lovely young lad called Nikolas who simply was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel and thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Most amazing break

    Have just stayed a this hotel for a week.Cannot fault.The staff were lovelyfriendly and could not do enough for you.The gardens are kept immaculate.The breakfast had so many foods on offer you are spoiled for choice.The nightly show were very enjoyable.The bedroom had a massive shower with plently of water pressure.The room had a safe which was free of charge to use.We had a garden room which opened out onto a swimming pool which had plenty of sunbeds.The area around the hotel felt completely safe day and night with no sign of any trouble.A most enjoyable break.Will definitely be back.

    Very bad food at the buffet!

    Very bad food at the buffet. I dont understand people give this accomodation a good review. The only thing that is good is the location by the beach, and the rooms are oke. Really not a 5 star hotel but 3.5, and even a 3 star hotel has better food than this, scandalous! Even the a la carte restaurant is bad! In the past we have booked more Riu hotels over the world , but never such bad food as this one.

    Excellent place to stay

    It’s in an excellent position next to the beach and handy for local bars and shops. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food in the buffet is varied and good. The two speciality restaurants need booking early and are good. The rooms are excellent and the bathroom and shower are good. My only complaint is trying to get hot coffee at breakfast. They preload insulated jugs and leave them at various stations around the restaurant. When they get to the table they are generally Luke warm and we did send a couple back when it was just too cold o drink but that was tedious. It amazes me that more people do not complain about the coffee

    Second wonderful visit

    A second wonderful visit to our favourite hotel. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It was lovely to see a place which is able to keep their staff from year to year. It:s also great that we were no longer being charged for a safe. A couple of extra cocktails for us!
