My Wife and I have just returned (June 10th) from what was a lovely Ten day stay at this RIU Palace hotel in Tenerife. It was our 2nd holiday there having previously stayed at the hotel back in 2023. As last time, it was top notch with the food and drink (and mostly sunshine, a few cloudy mornings/afternoons) being as good and varied as one could wish for. With all the tasty meats/fish/salads etc on offer then the super daily desserts and fruit. There is something even for the fussiest of eaters. The breakfasts are also plentiful, as good as one would want. The hotel is spotless and the hard working staff are a credit to the place and to Alexis Acevedo the Director who runs the hotel. He is always around making sure things are kept up to standard. Well done to him. Our only complaints about the hotel are firstly the charging of usage of the room safe. We paid 40 Euros for our Ten day stay. This is wrong and feels like penny pinching. We have stayed at RIU hotels all over the world including Dubai, Mexico, London and Tenerife is the only hotel that does this. It's not even the 40 Euros that I am writing about but the principle that is very wrong. Secondly its also wrong to be charging (3.50 Euros) for water at the evening dinners. It should be free of cost again in line with other such hotels. Just a tip, there are two excellent supermarkets outside the hotel (four minute walk) where a 2 litre bottle of water is just 1.45 Euros. Also the hotel charges 3.40 Euros for the usual sized can of Coco Cola and Fanta Lemon from the room fridge bar. At the supermarket across the road, the same cans are only One Euro. Moans over and overall, we had a smashing time and would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a holiday and we will probably be back again in due course.

Hotel as previous reviews is kept spotless by an army of cleaners.all the staff are pleasant and attentive.the only minor disappointment was whilst the selection of food at breakfast and dinner was overwhelming in choice the quality was sometimes disappointing.once my wife had the fish from the hotplate which wasn't cooked fully and on another occasion we both had the duck which was so tough we couldn't cut it.we both left it and the as the waitress took it away she acknowledged it was poor but that was it it went in the bin no follow up from anyone.ate at the pool bar twice for lunch.luke warm chips and expensive burgers and sandwiches which could have been better.overall I would return but would compare the price to the areas next door which is 4 star and nearly just as good apart from the sea view and no cussions on sunbeds.

We didn’t like it we love it !!
RIU Palace is lovely hotel with all the ingredients for a relaxing peaceful holiday. The reception staff are professional and efficient. All the staff work hard to give you great service. The food is excellent so much choice to satisfy all tastes. The whole hotel cleaning is exceptional. Room serviced to a high standard with a evening towel service . Areas around the pool for young and senior with plenty of shade . Drinks service daytime and evening very attentive with a smile nothing too much trouble . It’s no wonder people return you just know you get a high standard at good value . Entertainment area cold some evenings which dampened the atmosphere a little so take a jacket or just get up and dance to some good music .

Wonderful hotel Wery well directed by Mr. Alexis. He as under control and sets the quality standards very high. A great success on your part in making Eva the Hotel's Maitre. A great professional Who has been with the Hotel for many years. A great Credit to Riu. Keep it up.

5th Visit. Still one of the best.
5th visit. Spotlessly clean, good service, beautiful gardens and pool area. Special mention to Daniel in the restaurant for his friendliness and help at all times. Slight complaint is that there is a dress code at night in the restaurant which for some reason was not enforced. I think it should be. Not too much to ask gentleman to put on a decent shirt and long trousers instead of shorts and trainers. If the women can make a big effort, surely the men can as well?
