  Nice 2 weeks holiday be going in april 2026 again be are 3rd time.

  It was good and party time good as well and food taken my wife for her birthday in march to April 2025 good 2 weeks there and the weather was great 👍

  Very good vacation. We'll be back!

  We could not have asked for a better experience at the Riu Reggae. The staff work very hard to keep everything clean from your room to the common areas. Any mess we saw was from inconsiderate guests. We chose to eat at the buffet only as there was always plenty to choose from. The entertainment team is out of this world AMAZING. I won't spoil it.. check them out yourself. The resort overall is in my opinion suitable for everyone. If you want to party, you can. If you want to just chill, you can. We stayed in a garden view room (1179) which was quiet yet not too far from anything.

  Entertainment is Top Notch!!

  Stayed at the Riu Palace a few times but this time we booked into Reggae. I have to say the experience exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean and well kept, beds are comfortable, and they each have a balcony. This is one of the few resorts I've stayed where the buffet food outshined the specialty restaurants. There is a good mix of jamaican and international options, good was always warm and very tasty. The jerk hut is a must!! The best part of the trip is definitely the entertainment team. They put their heart and soul into ensuring you have a great time. From the foam parties, to the white party, and the evening shows, there is no shortage of a good time. Special shout out to Teddy aka Pineapple! My only negative was the bathroom had a foul odor that was consistent during the time there. It was less than ideal but didn't overshadow the great time we had.

  Not my favorite resort experience

  I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Riu Reggae.This is my 3rd stay at a Riu resort and up to this point I have been very pleased with both the Riu in Ochos Rios and the one in Negril.The Riu Reggea however did not live up to their normal standards.The food was very good if slightly limited compared to other resorts, however that is really the only good thing I can say about this resort.I found the desk staff to be less accommodating than usual ,my room had multiple issues including a television with 2 permanent lines across it,faulty light switches and extremely high levels of noise .I am not really a person who feels the need to review my trips however in a group of 8 people (4 rooms) all were left disappointed and many we spoke with felt the same way including one guest who was a travel agent and one who frequently visits resorts up to 5 times a year

  Did Riu hotel commit wire fraud?

  On 9/25 I booked a 3 night stay starting via Expedia the next day (9/26). That morning at 6am I woke up and was sick. I called Expedia to see if I could cancel. They told me the hotel lobby was closed and they were going to follow up. The entire time that my reservation was booked I got no answer back - Expedia said a refund should be about 10 days. Well it wasn't until 9 days later I found out my reservation was not refundable. The hotel lied about communicating with Expedia. I have copies of emails Expedia sent the hotel - that the hotel claims were never sent. I ultimately got my money back from travel protection, however I feel this company has committed wire fraud. I tried to seek an answer from them about a product I had paid for. They seemingly deliberately delayed the conversation so they could keep my money and not provide a product. On top of that the Riu customer support system is an endless vortex of no help and being answered with vague lies. The customer support I received from both Expedia and Riu has burnt their bridges with me. I will never use either again - and I encourage everyone to avoid this hotel and all Riu's if this is how they treat guests.
