Service was great. Food was decent but they were out of pico and guac 90% of the time and many Tims out of other basic food, like bananas or watermelon. Very frustrating to eat at the buffet or the taco bar.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff are extremely rude, we had cockroaches in our room and the staff didn’t do anything about it. The cleaning staff dug through our bags and stole over $800 usd and the hotel manager refused to do anything. I wish I could give zero stars.

Being a hotel manager, I would say hotel is nice. Check in was lengthy but ok. Beds are in dire need of replacement. I do not understand the logic of having water saving shower heads. The water is barely touching the body. Rinsing off after shampoo is a nightmare. Now 10 min shower is turning in to 30 min shower. Now Where is the water saving. Food options are typical. Part the restaurant ignored which I did not appreciate was food labeling. I am allergic and vegetarian. Most of the labels are not matching with the items and some of the basic items had pig logo on it. Was not sure it was ok to eat. Had to ask servers prior to eat. Do not want to Endup in ER while on vacation. Wet and pizza closes at 5. When I went there at 4:30 the kitchen was closed. I sent a written complaint but no action. No response from management. Stayed at other riu hotels in the past. Might be my last stay with Riu hotels.

My wife and I needed a quick break. There were communication issues with payment initially but once they were resolved the trip was great. Great access to the excursions and to shopping and exploring the local sights. Food was good and the staff was friendly and professional.

Fun, all inclusive, paties, shows, new year celebration was bomb and the feast oh my god! Thank you for the life experience!
