Always a great time at Royal Solaris. The staff are wonderful including Alberto the bell boy. He is always so helpful and you can tell he enjoys his job. He makes us feel welcome year after year when we come.

Amazing trip!
We’ve had a wonderful trip with a large group. Everyone was very accommodating and so easy to work with. Omar & Alberto are awesome!!! Socorro is an amazing bartender and adorable! Lupeta was great as well! Ramone is the best! Daniel has the best smile all day! Matias is a breath of fresh air each morning at breakfast! Miguel took amazing care of us and was always working to help with dinner plans. Martin gives the best hugs & great service. Fatima is beautiful & sweet. She works hard to make everyone feel welcome. The whole resort is full of hardworking staff. They’ve all become friends and it’s never fun to go home! Thank you to everyone for such a great trip!

Marco polo restaurant at solaris
Evelyn at Marco polo very helpful and freindly. Thank you! The food was tasty I got the chicken for the main course and Greek appetizer. Service was excellent

Nov 22, 2025An OK all-inclusive resort with hard working staff
Full disclosure: My husband and I have been members of Club Solaris since 2005. We have been Presidential members since 2022. The first 20 years were really great and we enjoyed everything about our stays at the properties in Cancun and Los Cabos. There seems to have been a change of management style since 2022. Communication between those who make reservations and those who assign rooms at check-in is non-existent. To make it worse, those who can improve the situation at the resorts don't seem to care...unless you want to pay more money. In a nutshell: the last three trips we had non-member guests with us and we felt we were penalized for being members. The restaurants are getting worse. It used to be a treat to have a reservation at Marco Polo and Pancho's. Since 2022, the menus and the service have suffered, and none of the sit-down restaurants serve a la carte for breakfast and lunch (buffet only). The process for making reservations is terrible (if you don't have the smartphone app you are out of luck). The quality of the food is still very good, but there's little variety. All of the restaurants seem to be understaffed and poorly coordinated. This is not the Solaris we remember and loved. We will no longer bring guests with us to any of the Solaris resorts, nor will we recommend membership in Club Solaris. To be fair, outside of the offices are some really great, hardworking people. Here are a few that stood out for their attentiveness, hospitality and warmth. Each of them made us feel like welcome guests! Great service great people
Our waiter Freddy was amazing. He always had the best service and amazing way of making us feel special every day. That was the best part of our trip was the service was amazing. Also, on her last night, we got Antonio in the restaurant area right by the beach. He was amazing very attentive and great service as well.
