Had a great yoga class with Elvis. A great way to start the day. Elvis was a great yoga instructor and I can’t wait to come back to the next class!!

Dec 05, 2025Our recent experience at The Royalton Chic Resort, Antiqua
Location of resort is only a 10 to 15 minute drive from airport depending on traffic. Taxi was $25 per couple. No refreshment drink upon arrival. Room was nice, view was not. It was suppose to be luxury garden view. Mud, dirt, few trees and bushes. Need to plant grass and colorful flowers. Sheets wete horrible, felt like sandpaper. Food was terrible! Service was very slow. 45 min to get appetizer and another hour for main entree. Cost over $100 for restaurant on the water. Definitely not worth tge wait or price! Little steak cut up in pieces for 5 year old on a huge plate. No sides. The pools were nice, beach was very pretty. Bars were plentiful, but you have to get all your drinks. No one walks around like other resorts to take your order for food or drinks. Entertainment was terrible! Antiqua needs to hire real chefs and stop paying locals to make food from other countries. Thanksgiving dinner was pathetic. Turkey was okay. Beef gravy instead of turkey gravy, no mashed potatoes, yams and dressing was blah. Mac and cheese was horrible. People pay too much money for not getting good food, service, comfy sheets and decent entertainment. Most of the resort is new, about 20% is from old hotel property. Oh and the shopping/ stores were very expensive. Over $40 for suntan lotion, $14 for bag of M&Ms, $88 for men's swim trunks, $129 for men's collared shirt, $149 for women's skirt, over $70 for beach hat, $29 for t-shirt and $13.95 for small beach rock. Unless this place hires real chefs for their restaurants, change their hour and a half wait time for dinner, use much higher quality sheets for beds, better entertainment to start...it will not be in business for long! They play music very loud throughout the resort from 9pm-11pm, so if you plan on going to bed before 11pm every night...this may not be the place for you. You can hear the loud music all over the resort, all the buildings and rooms. Nice weather and pretty beach, but we will not be back unless the above changes are addressed! Hope this helps whoever is planning on heading to Antiqua/ this resort. A few people took taxis to go eat each night while at an all- inclusive resort should tell you about the food.

Best birthday/vacation trip!!
I had an absolutely wonderful vacation ringing in my birthday at Royalton Chic!!!! ❤️🎂🎊 Yes, reviews had me apprehensive and worried..but all for naught. As my sister told me, vacation is what you make it, and as for my group of 7… we enjoyed ourselves!! We had 1 hiccup, and resort made an effort to rectify and we kept it moving! Plenty to eat, drink, places to swim, chill and activities! Go and enjoy…truly my best vacation! 🤗

This gym is one of best gyms I’ve seen. I will definitely be back there again soon. Thank you so very much for the workout. Elvis is the best staff member ever!!!
