Morning Yoga
Elvis’s yoga class had me all shook up—in the best way. Great flow, clear guidance, and a seriously uplifting vibe. I left feeling relaxed, stronger, and ready to return for more. Thank you very much!

Has potential but severely lacking on food quality and service
Location was great, resort was beautiful and we stayed in one of the overwater bungalows which was fantastic other than the loud music from the main pool and constant barrage of wave-runner rental vendors zipping back and forth. However, the food fell way below our expectations, and service was extremely spotty. One evening we waited for over 30 minutes after being seated at the "steakhouse" restaurant before even receiving water. They are very specific about your dinner reservation time. We were told to wait while tables were being "set up" even though there appeared to be many available tables ready to go. Room service was generally over 1.5 hour wait and generally required a follow up inquiry before food arrived. I would consider the staffing very reactive instead of proactive, meaning if you don't specifically ask, it won't get noticed or done. Maybe the culture is more casual in Antigua but it felt like the majority of the staff could really use some hospitality and guest experience training. In talking with other guests, there were similar experiences and complaints. My wife and I both agreed we would likely not recommend this property to others.

If you value your money and time, avoid.
Our stay began rocky. To break it all down: 1. We waited over an hour to check in to our room. We were told our check in was delayed because or butler was onboarding other guests. This was a lie. We were given another butler to take us to our room who was charming enough. The next day our butler eventually reached out to us in the afternoon. He told us he was off yesterday. We found it absurd that the resort provided us with a butler who has a day off on our day of check in. 2. The food is all heavily processed and reheated. Prescari (extra cost restaurant) may make food on site but it is basic. Not worth the extra spend (more on this later). If you enjoy fresh produce (basic fruit) and Caribbean cuisine please do not book. My partner is going home seriously unwell because of the heavily processed meats. The settings of Vespa (Italian) and Hunter Steakhouse restaurants are like eating in a school dining hall. Staff do not want to be there. If the food was good the resort could get away with it. 3. Diamond club (DC) don’t bother with it. The butler service is entirely hit and miss. Some butlers look happy to be of service, others don’t. It is pot luck. Ours was off for most of the time we were there. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and only for one did he bother (and the staff) to decorate the room. We were also told we could have a bottle of alcohol. This was delivered to us on our third day at 7pm. My partner asked if we could have a bottle of tequila instead given that our check in was delayed and we had not seen our butler for over a day. The DC manager Jado called us up and outright said no. She did not even apologise for the inconvenience caused so far. No offer of any other remuneration was given. 4. The minibar is not restocked daily. We had to wait over 2 and a half hours for water to arrive one evening. We were told it was coming 3 times. We should have just gone down to get some ourselves but the amount of mornings the DC bar had no water it wasn’t worth the risk. Snacks were not replenished daily either. 5. Pescari was not worth the price. Although no extortionate it was not worth the extra cost. The appetiser portions are enormous and staff give you no warning of this. The service is also not quick. The setting would be idyllic if we could see but reservations are only applicable for night time and you can’t see a thing. Ursa, Hannah, Kenan and Marcus are great assets to the resort.

Cracking hotel and top staff
Just got back from two weeks here. Couple of gripes about towels sometimes no being refreshed and lack of re-stocking of the room fridges but these are first world problems that in no way detract from the fabulous time we had there. Food was good (agree about buffet sometimes not being restocked quickly enough on occasions) but the stand out were the staff. Friendly and attentive on the whole, they made our stay that much more enjoyable. Special mention has to go however to Marlon & Jason in the bar & Daniel the fitness instructor who were all a credit to the hotel. Would definitely return like a shot. Thankyou xx Tip to management - you must be able to find a better way of communicating within the hotel when bars run out of items like tonic & water. Having to get the bar staff to go off and find them from neighbouring bars seems like such a poor way of organising. Why they can’t phone through to a central location for items to be delivered left us scratching our heads!
