Nov 26, 2025Major Improvements Needed at this Resort
My husband and I just left Royalton Chic Antigua for our wedding anniversary trip and the overall rating is 5/10. For context, my husband and I are Ambassador Elite members with Marriot Bonvoy and we were excited to stay at a Bonvoy property, however, our experience was disappointing to say the least. Let’s start with the pros of the Royalton Chic: - Dinner at Pescari, Haven Grill, and the experience on the beach were fantastic - Deanna at Pescari was amazing - Ersa who took care of us at the private cabana on (11/23) was fantastic - The resort was clean and the views were beautiful - Overall vibes of the resort were very relaxing (I will note that the resort very quiet at times, which didn’t bother us) Now moving on to cons of the Royalton Chic: - No welcome drink upon arrival - The Royalton app was TERRIBLE, which led to us not being able to book any restaurants for most nights - Lack of entertainment each night with no organized flow of transition from day to night - The majority of the staff (not all) would benefit from customer service training, at times, they were very slow, easily distracted, and at times rude. - Restaurants were often closed for no reason - Buffet was small and limited options, with lukewarm and inedible food - Most food at the resort was below average - Notably, how my husband and I were treated our last night was ABHORRENT, we tried walking in to check availability for Hunter Steakhouse (11/25) and the hostess RUDELY dismissed us and ignore us after we said we would wait. This was totally unacceptable and my husband and I ended ordering room service. As someone in customer service, you cannot simply ignore your guests especially since the Royalton app was down and most guests can’t book. As a Marriott ambassador, I am disgusted. 418,000 points were used for this trip. I am looking forward to a response. Overall, this resort has the foundation to be a great resort, however, there is more to be desired if we were to ever return to Royalton Chic Antigua.

Daniel and Eliena did classes by the pool , they were good fun. And accommodating for all levels. We really enjoyed ourselves and it felt good to keep fit on holiday. I recommend.

Daniel and Eliena were fabulous. I did Daniel’s yoga class today in the diamond pool. Very relaxing session. Very enjoyable

Fitness gym and staff the best
Review in the gym at Royalton Chic only. Love the classes offered Yoga, workout (bootcamp or HITT) and aquafit or Pilates at the pool. Instructors are very friendly and please and ask about any health issues or modifications required before each class. Gym is small but well equipped. Come do classes with Lindo, Elvis, Daniel and Eliena you won’t be disappointed and your feel great afterwards
