Nice facilities --- a good gym and tennis court, but a cold, unheated pool. The worst of all was the terrible, dry, overcooked food at the buffet and in all restaurants. The service at the restaurants was very slow, taking upwards of 1 and 1/2 hours to get food that arrived at the table cold, overcooked, and dry. Very little evening entertainment. The beach was very dirty and uncleaned, full of seaweed and plastics. During our 9-day stay, the beach was cleaned only once. Never again will we go to Royalton, and the hell with their Diamond club that we are members of.

We had a great stay for 10 days at the resort. We had great service and there was ample staff everywhere we went except probably the à la carte restaurants which seemed to not be able to fill up due to not enough staff. The beach did have a lot of seaweed a couple of the days, but there was constantly a tractor going to try to get ahead of this. The pools were wonderful. The food everywhere was really good as well as the drinks and selection of drinks and food. Mario on the vibe team was our favorite staff, he lent us balls for the kids to play with, remembered our names and made sure everything was a lot of fun. Tania was our favorite for getting drinks by the pool. The Realton fit aqua classes were the best. We tried Pickleball a few times and that was a lot of fun. Scoops for coffee gelato was the best. Some of our party got a lot of bug bites which was really unfortunate. It seemed like there was nowhere really to get food between 11 and 12 as that is when the buffet closed and the food trucks did not seem to be open yet, you could get snacks at scoops. Overall, this was a great trip, the resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing.

Outstanding Butler Service from Luis & Nestor
Our recent trip to Cancun staying at the Royalton was a good experience overall, but the resort itself did not exceed our expectations. While it is a nice property, there were aspects of the stay that felt average compared to similar resorts we’ve visited. That said, the service from our butlers, Luis and Nestor, truly stood out and exceeded expectations. They were the highlight of our trip. From day one, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we were taken care of. They helped with reservations, answered questions quickly, and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay smoother and more enjoyable. Luis and Nestor provided exceptional service and made a noticeable difference in our experience. Their professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed, and they deserve special recognition. If you stay at the Royalton, having butlers like Luis and Nestor can truly elevate your trip.

Don’t go to this resort
Horrible sewer smell and bugs that were biting(mosquitos). If you were not receptive to their sales pitch, they became dismissive and unprofessional.

Great experience
Manuel was an excellent server who provided quality services throughout our entire meal and made the experience really special! Must checkout Taj for a great dining experience ☺️
