    Horrible. Pick a different vacation spot.

    The toilet above us was leaking into our bathroom. We were moved to a downgraded cheaper room. The door would not lock on this new room. They wanted us to stay in that room but we refused. At 11 p.m. they moved us to a third room. Downhill from there.

    Beware horrible service food no good

    Horrible experience at the restaurant services is no good especially in the score sports bar Elizabeth was the rudest person definitely need more supervision.

    Great resort for couples and families

    We spent last week at this amazing resort and had a wonderful time. Mr. Mario Mariles, manager on duty, greeted us upon arrival and made sure we have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Vibe entertainment staff was friendly and creative, with the water attractions and all the different programs, we didn't feel the time go by. The service at the bars and restaurants was prompt and courteous. The quality of food and service was remarkable. At the Buffet and the different a la carte restaurants as well. Edgar Vinalay, manager and Noe-Leam Diego Cesar at Hunter steakhouse, Miguel Antonio Rojas and Daniel Tepetate and Shari at Rio Brazilian restaurant, Alejandra at Taj Indian cuisine, Francisco at Aguave Mexican restaurant, Andres and Manuel at Zen Teppanyaki restaurant and Manuella at the Buffet. We really felt like at home everywhere. In our opinion this resort is worth every penny we spent.

    Fabulous Visit with exception of a conference!

    Beautiful hotel, restaurants all nice, service mainly very good, found the waiters in Grazie Italian to be quite rude. Didn’t like a manager telling off waiters in the Smokehouse in view of guests, thought it was inappropriate. All staff work their backsides off to ensure customers are happy and a few glasses unwashed wasn’t really a big issue! Hotel is spotless, our room cleaned every day with fresh towels, any issues we did have were fixed/resolved within an hour. Last few days the Real Estate conference changed the mood of the hotel, when 500 people come in to a ‘work event’ but shouting and singing at 1am when families are sleeping wasn’t great, or when trying to relax around the pool and they descend around the bar talking in multiple groups so loud it takes over the music!!! Other than this a fab hotel, everything you could wish for and will return (when there’s not a conference taking place). Special mention to Gaspar Villarreal Hernandez in the buffet who was always attentive, smile on his face and knew our order before we sat down!

    Beautiful resort but dud not honor booking or support us when they cancelled our last night due to their overbooking

    I attended a family wedding at this hotel and highly rare the service, food, and property for the 4cdayvweddung period. However, as my husband and I travelled limg haul, we extended the stay for one day on either side of the group booking. This was where it all went wrong. I would not advise ever doing anything out of the ordinary or asking for a special condition at this hotel. After we booked and paid in full for 5 nights, on day 4 were told we had to move hotel, and we woukd be upgraded due to the inconvenience. We decided that on our last day wecwoukd take a trip to Las islas mujeres, and worked with guest services and the onside excursion company so we could have our vags transferred to the new hotel in cancun and be dropped there after the excursion. None of this was honoured. The driver kept us in the taxi for over 2 hours, bringung us to the wrong hotel and dropping all other guests firstwoukd not listening to us or checking with guest services when we said we were changing hotels and needed to be dropped at the second hotel. 2 out if 5 days if of holiday were severely impacted by this hassle, and although the staff seemed helpful in arranging, no one has taken responsibility or apologised afterwards. They just wanted us to be gone. It was actually horrible to gave no choice in being moved, told you had to accept undesirable terms, and then being abandoned to spend hours trying to sort it out without help. The travel agent we booked through handled the wedding, and tells me the hotel is not being responsive. I'm not sure which I believe. Although both hotels were fantastic places to be, I would recommend only if booking with a very reputable travel agent.
