We've been coming here for several years. It's always the perfect combination of peace and quiet, natural beauty, welcoming staff, spacious, well-appointed rooms, excellent dining opportunities nearby, and that lovely beach! We'll be back again soon . . .

A unique and wonderful place!
Sandyport is a unique and wonderful place. I have never seen anything like it! It was like being at the best summer camp ever, as a family. So much to see and do, from the ocean beach, the pier, the lagoon beach, the pools, games, waterslides, the variety of marine life, the restaurants within walking distance... it was awesome. I'm 51 and this was the first vacation where I honestly did not want to go home. Just to be clear, Sandyport is probably not for everyone. If your idea of vacation is manicured grounds and luxury linens, this isn't the place. Try Atlantis. But if you want to have an amazing family vacation, I do recommend Sandyport. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it wasn't posh by modern standards. There was a jacuzzi tub for the adults and a pull-out bed for the kids. The little kitchen was helpful, especially if you go to the nearby grocery store to have breakfast/lunch/snack foods on hand. There is even a laundry area on site if needed. Probably my favorite thing was seeing all the sea creatures... Spotted Eagle Rays, Barracudas, Puffer Fish, Sea Turtles, Stingrays, Fiddler Crabs... even saw a dolphin swimming in the lagoon! We really enjoyed our time there and we'd gladly go back.

Fun in the sun
Resort was better than expected. Staff were very friendly, went above and beyond. Concierge made sure all of my excursions were taken care of for the duration of my stay.

My favorite resort in Nassau!
My favorite resort in Nassau, I love it here! I always get exactly what I want and more, namely an upstairs suite with a lagoon beach view balcony and an in-room jacuzzi ! Superb vacation room experience! The beach and overall atmosphere of the resort was quite relaxing and beautiful. I’ll be visiting again real soon! Thank you again for the upgrade and to the staff for exceptional hospitality!

Beautiful, low-key, friendly & perfect for our family
I just spent a week here for a family vacation and couldn’t be happier with our choice. This is a multi-building low rise (2-story) resort situated around a lagoon and surrounded by a larger development (but still small) that has multiple restaurants and amenities in easy walking distance. The setup of the resort, along with the location about 20min outside of downtown Nassau, give Sandyport a very breezy, calm, tropical hideaway feel that was exactly what we were looking for & is really amazing for families with younger children or those looking for the same calming island vibe we found. We could walk out of our room right onto the lagoon beach every morning and loved the short walks in the island breeze to and from dinner every night…just lovely. This place is more than just the property though as the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and always greet you with a smile. From Taj who helped take our bags in the 1st day, to Tevin & Shara at the Starfish Cafe (on property breakfast), to Pam (front desk), to Lady Sarah (tour/experience booker extraordinaire), to Sharise (masseuse who my wife LOVED), to M.J. & John (bartender/cook at The Conch Shack — poolside lunch option) and everyone else who helps make sure this gem runs smoothly we were always treated kindly and helpfully and that really made us love this place even more. If you’re looking for high-rise hotels with casinos and black tie dinners then Sandyport might not be your best bet, but if your looking for low-key Island vibes with smiles and ease to promote relaxation then I can’t imagine a better choice than Sandyport!
