Nov 24, 2025Nice Hotel.
The hotel is very good, my only gripe, is the Portafino for breakfast, no matter how many days on the trot you asked the waitresses and restaurant manager to make sure your breakfast was hot, it always came out Luke warm, or cold, [ others have mentioned this, in there reviews ] after 5 days we gave up, and went to the buffet, the food was lovely and hot. Otherwise, it was a nice holiday, and I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Second time at this Secrets Hotel in Lanzarote and the overall experience was as good if not better than last year. The staff are wonderful, friendly, happy and efficient. The hotel is really well maintained and clean with lot's of facilities. We had Preferred All Inclusive and everything from a wonderful suite to very good food were fabulous. There is nightly entertainment and most of it was very good. The hotel is well located in Peurto Callero, a short walk along the coastal path to the marina where there are shops, restaurants and bars. We throughly recommend this hotel, it is the best we have been to over the many years in Lanzarote. We are already planning our visit for next November.

Fabulous Hotel and staff
Fabulous hotel, stayed for a week on the 10 November. This is our fourth time at Secrets which never disappoints, booked a sea view room this time which was spot on, room cleaned daily to a high standard plus mini bar stocked up daily. We tended to eat breakfast and evening meal at the buffet restaurant, staff were very nice snd pleasant and couldn't do enough for you, plus plenty of food choice. Evenings we went to the Piano Bar, the Entertainment was fab and never waited long for a drink, it was made more special as Roberto Luna and his staff were wonderful and we never waited long for a drink, and we were made to feel special every night. Can't wait to return next year which will be our fifth visit. Thank you Secrets.

Nov 23, 2025Poor experience- for solo travelers - cleanliness/security/ and staff removing a birthday gift never to be seen again.
Rooms were ok nothing special- location average-atmosphere ok. Dirty stairway Made to feel uncomfortable in restaurants . My birthday gift went missing. ( I was bought another by the manager) but I would be questioning the staff. Certainly not the usual Hyatt standard I did not feel safe as members of public could just walk into the pool area

Ok but for the price would have expected better service with housekeeping and no alcohol free choices in bars. Some bar staff were quite rude when serving. Staff in buffet restauramt were very nice though. Mixed bag.
