Rooms are well-appointed with all the amenities you’d expect from a Secrets resort. One glaring exception is a lack of charging ports so don’t forget to bring chargers for your electronics. Food’s good and the staff are lovely. Lots of entertainment options from sports to dancing. Will definitely return!

Xavier, the violinist
Xavier, the violinist, who played at the Italian restaurant, Portofinos, was amazing! We really enjoyed listening to him play. So talented and friendly!!!

Overall everything was great!
The violinist named Xavier at this resort was awesome! He’s located in the Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the people were very helpful and pleasant.

Our plan was to have a relaxing, romantic vacation. It was far from that for us unfortunately. It was almost impossible to find chairs at Preferred Pool, all had been claimed by 7AM and remained empty for hours after. We would have never considered sitting by the main pool as music was much too loud and the excessive drinking and partying was not what we were there for. It was a little easier to find chairs at the beach, but there was also much excessive drinking/partying and even music playing at the bar end of beach (is that necessary?). The drinking/party atmosphere carried into the rest of the resort and the restaurants (we had to change tables on one occasion due to vulgar language and arguing). We witnessed 5 different "domestic disputes" with yelling and screaming/swearing. Overall, our vacation was the exact opposite of relaxing as it was stressful finding a quiet spot to enjoy - our peace was always invaded rudely within an hour at most. We have stayed previously at many adults only resorts (Sandals, Iberostar, Le Blanc, Excellence) as well as Secrets Cap Cana, which were all very quiet/relaxing and more couples-oriented. Although beautiful in it's location and design, Secrets Puerto Los Cabos felt like a spring break oriented destination for large groups of partying young people. That is not what we were expecting and were very dissappointed.

Too many maintenance issues not resolved in a timely fashion
The resort and staff are lovely, the air conditioning was not working nor the shower properly (only dispensing hot water). Sadly, after days of these issues I had to request another room, rather than being offered one. I will not stay at this resort again.
