My Birthday Week Was AWESOME!!
Spent a week at the resort. Swim up room was amazing and convenient. Our room actually had an ocean view due to the location/lack of trees right in front of us. The pool staff waited on us while in the swim up pool or on our patio. 100% recommend the nachos and burgers they serve at the pool. Every beef dish we ate was so good! Very tender and well cooked whether it was a burger or different cuts of steak.

Resort was clean, rooms were very nice. Swim out suite was great however you will get a noise complaint against you if you’re in your swim out trying to relax & conversing with others in their swim outs. Paid a lot of money for a swim out suite and felt like I had to whisper because I didn’t want to get another complaint. Even though there’s construction right next door every evening & morning that I didn’t complain about. Spent 98% of our pool time at Breathless side.

My best friend and I were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. This resort is the perfect choice for two friends seeking true pampering, as it brilliantly blends high-end luxury with personalized service. If relaxation is your goal, this is your resort—it’s a true pool lover's paradise with three fantastic pools and a beautiful, serene vibe. For those wanting a change of pace, the lively atmosphere of the sister resort, Breathless, is easily accessible. The Pillars of the Stay: Service and Luxury The resort’s commitment to a high-end, hassle-free luxury experience is what truly sets it apart. The service is, frankly, the best you will encounter, featuring consistently kind, helpful, and welcoming staff. We loved that no reservations are needed at any restaurant, even the most popular ones, and there are no itchy wristbands to worry about! We were thoroughly impressed by the pristine condition of our room, thanks to the impressive twice-daily cleaning. Dining and Drink Excellence (and a few favorites!) The food and drink quality offer great value. We particularly loved The Strip Steakhouse and Coquette, the classy French restaurant. For convenient dining, the Rosewater restaurant is fantastic; it’s steps away from the pool and offers a huge menu for delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For poolside pampering, the servers Urbano and Mar are outstanding, always on point with our drinks. Activities and Entertainment—Highly Engaging The entertainment here is highly engaging, especially due to the personalized attention. We enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere around activities like beach volleyball, trivia, and blackjack in the pool, noting that the team’s energy and personal connection encouraged us to dive into the fun. Evening highlights included karaoke and the silent disco. Tip: Don't miss the spectacular fire show on the Breathless side! (I would recommend adding different programming to enhance variety in the future, but what they offer is excellent.) A Future Star: The Spicy Luis Experience I must provide special commendation for Luis, aka "Spicy Luis," from the entertainment team. Luis is more than just an entertainer; he is a true hospitality ambassador. He was so amazing and personable, making a point to connect with us every morning, offering Spanish lessons, and genuinely taking the time to know you. As a travel agent, I was impressed by his dedication, not only to guests but to his colleagues as well. He truly elevates the guest experience. I highly recommend he be looked at as a future star at your location! Final Verdict This resort delivers a phenomenal luxury experience, especially for those prioritizing unparalleled service and a relaxed atmosphere. Tip: BRING ENOUGH SUNBLOCK/sunscreen! With all the time you'll be spending by the amazing pools, you'll need it!

This isn’t an all inclusive beach resort. No one can use the beach, it’s not clean and the water was dark and murky. They will close 3 restaurants on any given day forcing you to go to the remaining ones and they have long waits. They will also prevent you from eating at the French restaurant due to a dress code. They require long pants in 90 degree weather in Mexico. If you want people to pay top dollar then you need to provide a good experience. The buffet barely has food options. Basically, no beach, no swimming outside of pools, no food, and loud breathless guests that you have to share the property with
