Awesome holiday, far exceeded expectations. Awesome Food, Excellent Ambience. Nothing was lacking to make this a very memorable holiday. The beach was awesome too. Lots of entertainment throughout the day to keep us engaged. Also, the place was more secure and safe than we thought it would be.

Lifeguard Alfredo Reyes is amazing!
Secrets The Vine is an amazing place to stay. We have stayed there 3 times and love the place. I want to specifically mention the beautiful beach in front of the hotel. I was sleeping on a lounge chair under an umbrella when I was woken by the sound of someone yelling for help from the water. I looked up to see an individual off shore struggling and yelling for help. The next thing I saw was the lifeguard Alfredo Reyes running super fast across the beach, he dove into the water, swam thru the waves into the channel where the young man was going to drown. Alfredo saved the young man from sure death by swimming him out of the channel and into the beach. As Alfredo casually walked back to his lifeguard station everyone on the beach stood up and applauded. Alfredo is a real life "HERO" and gives this beach in front of Secrets The Vine an added peace of mind and comfort for all it's guests. Alfredo deserves the utmost respect and thanks for his watchful eye and sincere care he offers all who enter the water at Secrets The Vine. I'm honored to have witnessed him in action and I'm sure he has helped many many people. I will return to Secrets The Vine soon and shake Alfredo's hand once again. Vaya Con Dios! Amazing culinary experience. Wonderful service, luxurious rooms. Only downside was a lack of sunbeds being available after 8am due to guests coming down early to claim one with a towel, book or bottle of sunscreen and then not returning to use the bed until later in the day

Apr 24, 2025A nice couples hotel, clean, great staff, just not the biggest resort, but with no kids, does it matter.
Nice restaurants, great beach when the weather is good, nice pools and friendly staff. Lots of space in the hotel and more than one thing to do in the evenings. Service around the pool was limited and space around the pools is very close mainly due to the width of the overall property. Some nice local restaurants in walking distance. Staff very good. Rooms exceptional and clean.

Excellent stay
Everything went according to plan, the only thing we thought we were gonna get, was a bottle of wine for our anniversary but that didn't happen. Everything else was as expected. Highly recommended. The food, the staff, the cleanliness of rooms were right on point.
