Food is good, but not worth the stay
The food is good, but if you receive resort credits, be careful, it’s a total scam of a program. We checked in late (after the vip desk was closed) and our check in person failed to notify us of needing to speak with them before hand. Also, total side note, the lobby smells absolutely horrible.

Chic & an excellent time at The Vine. Def for foodies this resort!!!
This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were preferred guests & although it’s not necessary we did like having our prefffered level pool & bar. They made the best drinks poolside & at our preferred level lounge. The food at preferred lounge level was hit or miss & sometimes not replenished so that was a little bit of a negative but not enough to tarnish this gem of a hotel. The room was huge. We had a butler (Sebastian) who helped with anything we needed. He was so charming. The resort is perfect for those not wanting a large resort but a rather well contained one. It has everything one would need without having to walk very far. It’s felt rather chic like a Miami vibe to it. Also it was kept extremely Clean. We never saw one bug anywhere inside this hotel. Not saying they don’t have them. Everyone there works hard at keeping up this resort. As for the musty smell in the main lobby area near sports bar it is peculiar but the resorts does not smell throughout the resort. It is rather odd. Perhaps it’s the rug near the concierge. From the pool cleaners who scrubbed the tiles to other maintenance etc. it was impressive how far beyond they all go to keep this resort so well maintained. I guess I should start with the food. This is def a resort for Foodies! Not sure how anyone can say otherwise. I’m from New York with a very eclectic palate & Secrets The Vine exceeded our expectations. From the hostesses to the wait staff & chefs they all were excellent. We went to ALL restaurants & we were never disappointed. I would need a month to try every food but we did our share of trying lol. There’s plenty of activities day & night so you can keep as busy as you like or not. The entertainment & the live bands, singers etc were great. Yes there is seaweed (sargassum) but they do their best to rake it & clear it away. I’ve always found the ocean beautiful in Cancun so this wasn’t a problem for us. It seems like the seaweed came in cycles. There are nearby beaches that do not get seaweed do to the tides & time of year. We cannot wait to return. I hope the Hyatt hotel maintains this level of excellence. It truly went above & beyond what we expected. Thank you to everyone at this hotel who made our experience wonderful.

Absolutely amazing experience would definitely come again.
We came to this hotel for our 10th anniversary and when I say it was nothing less than a whole honeymoon experience. The staff were absolutely brilliant and extremely accommodating, the room was clean, bed comfy, there's a variety of pillow types to choose from. Mauricio - the floor butler- put an anniversary banner on our door and rose petals on our bed in celebration of our anniversary. There are a variety of restaurants to eat at from Italian to Mexican to Thai. The market cafe is the main restaurant and the service was outstanding, mainly Jose the head manager and waiters Nicolas, Cesar and Manolo were exceptional! They topped up the drinks as they were low and were very accommodating with regards to our vegetarian diet. The head chef Enrique made special meals for us to accommodate our dietary requirements. The hotel also has an infinity pool for 'preferred club' which has amazing views and again exceptional service. The server will come to you to check if you are ok and/or if u need anything from snacks to drinks(every 10-15mins) to moving the sunshade over. Your glass is never empty. 😂 I'm aware this hotel cost higher than other hotels on the strip but I can honestly say it is worth every penny.

Great Staff, Nice looking Hotel, but No Vibes
The hotel is stunning, the staff is nice, but it seems like management wants to have the "serious" tone. There was no music in the pool area playing all day, pool volleyball for about an hour over the course of 4 days, beach was full of seaweed (hotels in the area are contributing to the deforestation of ocean trees the prevent large amounts of seaweed from coming ashore).

Vacation with the family at Secrets of the Vine
The staff at this resort are really what makes the trip a 5 star. The entertainment was better on previous trips taken to the vine. Dragons was our favorite restaurant.
