Amazing time at this resort. The wife and I had a week longa getaway with no kids and I could not say more of the great time that we had. People are friendly and the food was great. Special kudos to Alejandro, one of the pool servers. Amazing attention to detail and quite friendly. He topped off the experience as an A+ employee. Thank you for all that you do. Michael

Second time did not disappoint
Our second experience at Secrets Vallarta Bay was just as wonderful as the first time. The food at Oceana was delicious, drinks at Manatee bar were great, service was above par and the Entertainment staff (Veronica and Jorge) were fantastic. Our butler Jose in the Preferred Club was there if needed but we are very unimposing travelers but what he did for us was appreciated.

ROACHES in rooms! Please be aware!!!! They have ROACHES. We was here for 6 days and offered only to be moved to another room or an additional 25 mins added to our massages in which we had already paid for. I reported this to upper management and please see there response in added photo. They think because they have a pest control plan then everything is ok. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Paying over 3k for a hotel to have roaches is Unacceptable

Overall our anniversary trip to Secrets Vallarta Bay was pretty good. I just dislike the timeshare aspect and high pressure sales. My husband and I didn’t want to be bothered so we declined to attend the presentation. The rooms were pretty good - comfortable but just dated and had a damp smell which may be due to us facing the ocean. Service however was amazing! Adrian was our waiter at a couple of the restaurants and he was very attentive and always took such good care of us. On our last day he gave us a parting gift - a cake that read, “Have a nice trip” written on it. He was the best and would be reason to return. Adrian should be rewarded for awesome customer service!

Beautiful property with wonderful amenities. Fun with friends or romantic getaway it's the perfect place. Location is convenient to many things.
