Oct 25, 2025Amazing experience and will be back
Me and my Husband came here for our honeymoon! It has truly been absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend! I would love to do a special shout out to Ana our waitress at the rodeo grill, she truly went above and beyond with everything that she did for us. We literally asked her to be our sever every night! She Made it a very memorable experience every night. I also want to shout out Jacob, one of the servers here by the pool! He stayed on top of serving us. He would walk past and see an empty drink and just bring us another one! I highly recommend, they even have shows every night at 9:00 in the theater that are put together so well! I highly recommend this for newly weds or family’s! They have things for all ages.

Great experience! Rodeo Grill was our favorite, with our server Ana!
Everything about our experience was amazing! Especially with Ana as our waitress, it was absolutely great! At the Rodeo Grill, she was very fast at serving while being very busy. She made our dinners very special and we decided to ask her to be our server every night!

Great family vacation
Great for families with kids. It has all kinds of activities (mini golf, swimming pool slides, ping pong, video games, trampolines, zip line, day care with all-day activities, movie theater, etc). The food is great (we particularly liked the one served by the swimming pool for lunch), anyway all restaurants have great food. The staff is very kind and attentive in all corners of the hotel.

So welcoming!
Had the best week here I truly feel like I’m leaving family behind when I leave, they treated us so well. Ana at El Rodeo restaurant was absolutely amazing, made me and my boyfriend feel so welcome and special. Eva and Javier at The Pergola were our favorite part of breakfast each morning! Diego the bellhop became family so quickly, took amazing care of us and went out of his way for us. The concierge stayed in contact with me all week and each morning to make sure everything was perfect for us. 10/10 experience here and that’s all thanks to the staff. I can’t wait to be back!

Oct 14, 2025Great stay overall, but staff professionalism (especially the lifeguard incident) needs improvement.
Room: The room was clean, stylish, and had an amazing sea view. The minibar was well-stocked, and housekeeping came twice a day. Every evening, they left a nice touch — a handwritten note with a few cookies on a wooden board. Restaurants: The Mexican restaurant was average. The food quality was fair, but one experience was disappointing — after we gave the waiter a tip, he asked for more, which felt uncomfortable. The à la carte restaurants were spacious, with a good variety of food, fruits, ice cream, cookies, and desserts. However, the restaurant staff could be friendlier. At first, they ask if you need anything, which is nice, but if you don’t tip, they tend to ignore your table afterward. The steakhouse was excellent — our waiter was very attentive and introduced us to some amazing cocktails. Staff: Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, except for one of the lifeguards, Enrique, who was rude. Reception: Reception staff were polite and welcoming. Pools and Facilities: The kids’ pool had plenty of fun amenities, and the trampoline area was safe and enjoyable for children. The poolside activities were average, and the snack bar near the pool was good. However, the bartenders at the pool bar could be a bit friendlier compared to other resorts I’ve visited. The nightly shows were fantastic — great energy and performance! Smoking-Free Rule & Lifeguard Incident: We didn’t see any “no smoking” signs anywhere in the resort. On our first day, while walking to the Coral Bar, my friend and I each had a cigarette. Suddenly, the lifeguard, Enrique, came toward us and said it was a smoke-free hotel. We explained that we didn’t know because there were no signs or notices during check-in. When we asked the bartender for an ashtray, he didn’t have one and gave us a cup instead. Then, Enrique came and suddenly pulled the cup from my hand — which was shocking and rude. If the hotel or certain areas are smoke-free, there should be clear signs or guests should be informed at check-in. In most resorts I’ve visited, outdoor smoking was allowed. Also, enforcing rules should not be the lifeguard’s responsibility — their main job is pool safety. During our stay, I even saw the same lifeguard playing volleyball and handling towels instead of watching the pool, and once he appeared to be drinking while on duty. No one should ever grab something from your hand without consent. His behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. Because of that experience, I’m deducting one star from my review. Otherwise, the resort overall was good and enjoyable.
