Excellent Stay
What truly made the stay special was the staff. Luis, Jimena, and Mariana went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. They were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made a big difference in our overall experience.

Vacation entertainment staff
Great hotel with lots of great activities. Luis, Mariana and Jinena was a team of people that ran all of the activities. Wonsjy prizes like complementary drinks and bracelets. The amazing staff where able to guide us through the many activities well like bracket making, bingo, Mexican lottery and much more. Overall I had a great time and really enjoyed the wonderful activities from the Sheraton Entrainment team.

Can’t wait to return!
Has the most amazing experience with staff. From the incredible service upon arrival from the bell desk, to the flawless check-in at front desk, every staff member (front of house and back of house) were warm, engaging, helpful and so lovely. We would see various cooks and chefs come out of the kitchen, every one friendly and so warm. The towel attendants and pool staff were great. The gentlemen that served our breakfast, Javier, Hector, Jorge and especially our king, Ringo, they made each morning so special and start off so well. We are still talking about how much we loved them all. The housekeeping staff was amazing! I had a small issue with my keycard and despite my language barrier the wonderful housekeeper helped me in and fixed my keycard. Our room was clean, beautiful and well maintained. The ice machines were out on the floor I was on, so I went down the restaurant in the main lobby and they filled the ice bucket happily and easily, we were so grateful for the ice. We were lucky enough to have a spa day and Jessica was the first person we met, absolutely wonderful service and explained everything perfectly. Jessica made for an amazing first impression at Maiave. Esmeralda was our hydrotherapy guide and was so warm, friendly, kind and just wonderful to be around. She continued and elevated the luxury spa experience. The hydrotherapy experience is incredible and I strongly recommend any guest try it out. We were whisked into our 80 min massages with Bertha and Evelyn, two consummate professionals! From the tequila foot bath to the last touch, those ladies gave us a wonderful experience and deep relaxation (which was so needed!). We honestly can’t wait to come back. Never been one to return to the same hotel and usually love to stay at different places, but would happily come back, and have strongly recommended this beautiful accommodation to everyone I know travelling to Puerto Vallarta. There were so many inquiries from friends where we were staying from the photos we shared, just a gorgeous spot for travellers, not just tourists.

The positives: pretty facilities, family vibe, perfect pool temperature, clean, friendly staff. The negatives: the main reason I would not come back is because it's not a true all inclusive. I can avoid a timeshare pitch ( and did) and I can be okay having a few items that are up charged , but this hotel excludes more than I've ever seen from its "all inclusive plan." one of the restaurants had only 3 or 4 things that were not an up charge. Specialty coffee was an up charge, the sandwhich place was an up charge, the gelato stand was an up charge, and worst of all, the ACTIVITIES were an up charge. They closed all the restaurants on new years and offered a " party buffet" that was 30$ a person to attend. It made me feel like I had to ask constantly what was included and what wasn't and that was a big bummer on the trip. The food was okay, not great and not bad, typical resort food.
