Amazing holiday would come back
Visited during April 2025 2nd week of QLD, Australia school holidays with wife and children 6 and 3. Defiantly one of the better resorts on the island. Overall a very good experience and we left feeling we got great service and value for money. Would have no hesitation in recommending or coming back. Have seen some negative reviews in regards to the rooms. Must admit this doesn't mirror our experience. We thought the room was very nice and modern and of a very generous size. The biggest plus is the air con which is chiller cold if you want it to be and looks to be a very modern ducted system. We did some resort hopping during our 7 night stay as my wife likes to try out the day spas. Unfortunately the day spa associated with the sheraton is at the neighbouring westin resort which is currently Fiji's largest construction site and impacts significantly on the ambiance for that day spa. Despite this it's prices were some of the highest on the island so you can see why going elsewhere for a spa made sense. What we learnt from venturing out to the other close by resorts was: -Hilton, Raddison Blue and Wyndam seemed to be a step behind in terms of property quality, amenities and staff service standards compared to the Sheraton. The Sofitel on the other hand appeared to be well and truely on par. The only difference with the Sofitel is their pool gets quite deep in places which would probably not be a consideration to most people, but with 2 little boys that like to roam the safety of the 800mm and 900mm Sheraton main pool depth meant as parents we could lounge around the pool keeping an eye on them with less stress. Short summary as follows for the Sheraton: Pro's - Buffet breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen, Location, value for money, food quality, room standard, facilities, and KIDS CLUB! special shout outs to Ester in the kids club, and Bimel at the porter desk. Con's - Can't really think of any. But please read my suggestions. Suggestions - Convert one of the shops (probably 1 too many selling the same things anyway) or conference break out rooms into an kids arcade. This is a revenue opportunity missed. Yes there is the VR room but this is for older kids and an arcade would be a huge win and money spinner. Go on a Royal Caribbean cruise and see the way they offer the onboard photography up charge both roaming and portraits. People will pay huge prices for nice holiday photos. Another revenue opportunity missed. Lastly, perhaps not a very good poolside food/drink ordering system a little clunky to use as some of the QR codes are all faded and not working and not enough bar staff running around asking for drinks orders. Last revenue opportunity missed I promise :)

Stay somewhere else in Denarau
Staff were amazing Breakfast was very good Pool tired and scum around the edges. Stepped on something in the pool and realised it was a glass tile from the pool edge. The main issue was the room. We paid FJD $2100 for 2 nights and the room was well below average. Furnishings in the room were good but…..Mould in the tiles in shower, single glazed windows that had some sort of tape around the edge. We could not see through the windows due to the condensation on the outside. Where the coffee machine in the room was the cord could not reach the outlet. When I moved it so it could reach the outlet didn’t work. Golf cart reverse beeper would go outside our door all hours of the day and night. I went past a room that was getting made up and the rollaway bed they were putting into the room was heavily stained.
- AdvisoryPrices are based on single or double occupancy. You will incur additional charges at the time of check-in for additional room occupants. The Front Desk will verify the age of the guest to determine whether the extra fee would apply.
