    Wonderful place

    Beautiful place and warm and friendly people. This hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities that you will need. It is in a very touristy area and is a man made island We had the chance to stopover in Fiji on our way home from Australia. We enjoyed our four nights at this resort. The staff are some of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve ever met. They also have beautiful voices. The birthday songs and farewell songs the staff sang were amazing. They sang like a professional choir. Tatavu restaurant on the beach has delicious food and you can watch the gorgeous sunset while eating. The only downside to our short visit is that shade is hard to find on the beach and by the pool. The resort should build palapas or let more natural palms grow large enough to provide solid shade. I would highly recommend this resort if you are travelling to Fiji. Venaka to all the staff!

    Standards at this hotel have dropped since the Marriott took over

    We have stayed at this hotel annually for several years and have always regarded it as a favourite destination. However, on this visit, we were disappointed to find that the overall standards appear to have declined since the transition to Marriott management. In particular, the level of customer service did not meet the expectations we have come to associate with the property. When we enquired at check-in about the possibility of a room upgrade, we were advised that the duty manager was unavailable and that the hotel was fully booked. This was surprising given that it is low season and the hotel appeared to be operating well below capacity. We had considered booking the Crowne Plaza but ultimately chose to return here based on our previous positive experiences. Unfortunately, this stay has not reflected the high standards we once enjoyed, and we hope management will take this feedback on board to restore the quality and service that made this hotel our preferred choice.

    Spa is Heavenly

    I want to focus my review on the spa services. I was given a very relaxing massage by Engelin at the Heavenly Spa. What a delightful experience!! I found the staff to be very pleasant and professional. The massage that Engelin gave me was out of this world! Her hands are absolute magic!! She was clearly very experienced at her craft and she enjoys her profession. Please visit the spa for an unforgettable experience.

    Pamper Yourself - You Deserve It!

    This is a beautiful full service resort. It has the highest standards in ambience, customer service and amenities. We enjoyed our five days at this resort and only wished we could have stayed a few more days. After 2.5 weeks of lots of traveling and sightseeing around New Zealand this was the perfect place for a week of relation and pampering!
